Chapters 47

Manik was about to cut it but someone hold his hand in mid-way. He looked up and was surprised to see rohit. "Ro I thought you... !" His eyes fall at rohit hand and saw him holding first aid kit.

Tears pool up in his eyes as his heart got filled with guilt. Rohit eyes softened, he gently snatched blade from his hand and throw it away.  Rohit held his hand and gently guide him towards the bed.

He make him sit on the bed and sit beside him. Rohit gently took manik arm in his hand and pushed his sleeves up again. Rohit sigh at familiar sight, he squeeze out some ointment into his finger. Rohit was about to apply it on the wound. But manik shook his head, "Ro nahi... dard hoga!" Manik whine but he get silence in answer. Manik looked at him, "Ro please... nahi" Rohit scoff, "Cut karte waqt nahi socha 'dard hoga', hm.. !" Manik pout at his tone, "Tu mujhe mock kar raha hn?" Rohit smile sarcastically sweetly, "Nahi toh apke liye ice cream layun? apke pair ke massage karun? Itna mahan kaam kiya hn shezade ne" Manik pout grew more.

"Roooo.... !" Manik whine, rohit glare at him, "Chup! Ek dum chup! You don't have any right to whine after your 'beautiful stunt' , samhja" manik grumbled but stick his tongue out. Not backing down from showing his defiance. Rohit eyes narrowed, "Arjun bhai ko bataun kiya?" Manik pale at his threat.

Manik smile sweetly and massaged rohit shoulder, "Aryy bhai app toh bura man gaye" Rohit roll his eyes and slap his hand away. Manik cares his hand, giving a offended look, "Mujhe mara kyu? Bimar hun" Rohit scoff again, "Mar khane ke hih layak hn tu" Manik pout.

Rohit hold his arm in his hand and softly applied ointment on it. Manik closed his eyes anticipating pain but he feels just coolness. He frowned opening his eyes, he looked at rohit who was applying ointment on his arm like it was made of glass and would broke if he put too much pressure.

Tears pool up in his eyes as his heart got swell with love.  He looked at rohit with mixture of emotions. Rohit who was busy in applying ointment at his arm like he is a new born baby, didn't notice much, "Ro... Sun na" he whispered. Rohit hum in response.

Manik looked at him with a small face and hugged him tightly, hiding his face onto his shoulders. Rohit got startled at unexpected hug but didn't question and caress his shoulder.

Manik sob softly, rohit caress his shoulder letting him cry. He didn't stop him nor ask any question. After some time, Manik sob reduce into hiccups. Rohit pat his head and bandage his arm. He caress his head and gently  make him lay down on the bed, tucking him. He tap his forehead slowly yet gently, "Sleep baby!" Manik tried to protest but a wave of sleepiness and tiredness engulf him.

Rohit sigh, "Kya karun mein tera?" He said ruffling his hair who whine making him smile,"Pura baby hai".

Rohit entered in the kitchen. He stopped in his track after spotting a lady making something. Rohit stand there awkwardly, clueless what to do. Sakshi turn around and smile looking at him. Rohit taken aback by her presence.

Rohit looked at her a bit surprised, "App yahn, Mrs. Sakshi?". Sakshi who was expecting this reaction, smile in disappointment, "Tum dono bhaiyon ka ek hih sawal hota hn" Rohit got confuse, "Kya bol rahi hn app?".

Sakshi hold his hand and gently guide him toward the backyard. Sakshi sit and pull him beside her, she pass him a glass, "Juice" she offered.

Rohit look skeptical but accepts it, "Apne bataya nahi, app yahan kyu?" Sakshi roll her eyes, "Yahan nahi toh kahan jaun? Abh apne fiance ke ghar mein aane ke liye bhi reason chahiye" Sakshi exclaimed.

Rohit looked dumbfounded, "App anirud ki fiance ho?" Sakshi face palmed. She shook her head, why these kids are so clueless about their blunt statements? She looked at him, "Nahi mein arjun ke fiance hun".

Rohit eyes widened, "What? App arjun bhai ke fiance ho?" Sakshi give him a look, "Did I spoke in an alien language?" Rohit scoff, "Mera yeh matlab toh nahi tha. I mean toh phir apne kabhi bataya kyu nahi? Like jab mein aur manik company ayee the tab, kyu?" Sakshi looked at him, "Tum logon me bhi toh nahi bataya ke manik MM hn" she exclaimed.

Rohit shrugged, "We thoughts it's not important" sakshi roll her eyes at his nonchalant attitude, "Not important? Tell me you're joking. You both are working in Arjun's office without telling him the truth".

Rohit looked confused, "Arjun bhai ko kaunsa sach nahi bataya? Aur humne kab arjun bhai ke company mein kaam kiya?" Sakshi sigh, "Rohit don't be naive. What do you think, who is Armaan Enterprise owner?" Rohit shrugg , "Ismein kiya, we all know its Suryakant Rawtee" sakshi give him a look. Rohit eyes widen in realizment. He looked at sakshi with shock, "Don't tell me" sakshi smiled sarcastically, "Late realization kid but good realization. The chair man of Armaan Enterprise is no one other then Arjun Arnav Rawtee".

Rohit gasp his hand instinctively covering his mouth, "You're lying".

Sakshi stop herself from whacking the boy, "you both are idiot".

Rohit pout, "Apne mujhe idiot bola? Katie" he showed his pinky finger.

(Katie is generally a term we used to say friendship is over)

Sakshi scoff but shook her head fondly.

Anirud looked at arjun who was sitting in silence. Anirud knew this silence very well, it was silence before the storm.

Anirud clear his throat, "Arjun!! Kuch bol toh sahi!" Anirud said. Arjun looked at him with blank eyes.

Anirud looked at him in his eyes, "Aru, bol na! Kya hua?" Arjun stare at him, "Kya bolun? Bolne ke liye kuch bacha hn kya abh?".

Arjun stood up and dial intercom, after sometime a man with muscular body step in the room. Arjun lean onto the desk, "1 week! Ek hafte ke andar andar I want that man infront of me alive. Bohut hogaya tamasha, bohut Kheliya usne apna khel. Let's show him what's real game looks like".

Arjun moved towards the window, a sinister smile tugging on his lips which scared everyone in the room, "Rajiv Khurrana be ready" and laugh which send shiver through everyone spine.
