Clears throat.
It is a mystery what happens to the money the boy accountant gives him initially. He still dons that red vest and black sweatpants from way back when Koke meets him. He crosses his fingers as if in preparation for a prayer. He looks like he wants to ask for a favour. The light from a lamp near one of the trees in the junior accountant's neighbourhood shines at the shorter man. It's not so bright and it gives the fella's skin an almost orange complexion. As he makes his little steps in his shabby white-soled canvas of a black background designed with white drawings, the younger guy frowns more, making a backward step towards his house.
“Yo. You don't need to.... How may I help you? ” There's a spiral of panic in Koke's voice as he cuts in on Ghost. The unexpected visitor pauses his movements, gesturing his harmlessness to Bob's employee with his hands up as if he's surrendering himself.
“I haven't come for help.” He responds to Koke's question.
“Now what?” The younger individual asks but his voice hides not his fear.
“Um....” Sighs. “I've come to see you. I've....” He trails off on seeing the lad's facial expression getting more unsettled. “Look....If you've come for your money, then....” Koke butts in but Ghost isn't going to allow him to finish. “No no no no no.” The man with large black eyes defends himself with his palms facing the younger one in the space between their bodies. The shorter of the two tilts his head a little, squinting in the same character. Koke's visage remains neutral. “I just wanna check on you, you know. We're brothers, ain't we?” Asks Ghost. The accountant sighs. The former stereotypes whilst the dude he follows keeps a smile on his countenance. “You see, that smile. That one. It's an assurance.” Ghost comments with a smug. The junior's smile diminishes gradually with a shake of his head. “So, are you allowing me in?” The bloke gestures towards Koke's door. The latter briefly looks at his door before bringing back a frown-rich face for the visitor.
“No. We can finish whatever the business it is here.” Bob's worker responds.
“Wow. I thought you trust me. I thought I was welcome when you flashed me that smile.”
Koke sighs with a returning smile. “Trust you?”
“Yeah. I thought I did something for ya.” The chap pulls at his chin hairs.
“I knew it. I knew you wanted your money. But....It's not about the money. Perhaps, you've been looking for me so that you can dash it to my face. All along, I just needed some time away. Alone. You know. Don't you sense something similar between us?” The muscled guy interrupts Koke and on finishing his say, he commences making baffled footsteps towards the accountant. In his stillness, the younger individual drifts his attention to the lower body of the moving figure.
Once again, just like the last time they meet, their bodies are just inches apart. Koke can't help a heavy outward breath. Ghost lifts his face, his large black eyes looking into Koke's. “I wonder why we don't connect, though I have a feeling that we should. I succeeding in removing the green mark from your thumb was an indicator to me.” He drifts his gaze down the accountant's neck after speaking. There's a few seconds of silence before Koke responds. His black-brown eyes look at the street man as if he's trying to read the shorter chap's mind.
“I don't know you. I don't know what you really want but please, leave.” His voice is firm and direct. Next time he means that, he might have to follow it with a gesture cause his permanence does nothing to move the fella. The older individual smirks.
“Heh. You're one different kind you know that?” He caresses the sides of his lower face with one hand while the other remains in his pocket. His lips are apart as he makes sideway movements with them, the upper one going in a different direction other than the lower one. Koke should be lucky that the guy's teeth are partially on exposure. Ghost looks at the dude's face. “Bad boy.” He laughs and taps the younger lad's shoulder. Bob's worker isn't taking his eyes off the beastly geezer. After all this time that the young company employee spends checking on the street waiting to see if he can meet with this person, the fellow appears after Koke gets enough of the trials. Ghost is most probably eating away the accountant's time for a takeaway or his abode kitchen. “I didn't know you could pull off such a denial. I thought I'd told you my name sometime back.” The shorter one concludes with a self-satisfactory smile. “Anyway, once again, I'm Ghost.” He lets out his hand for a shake with the dude he follows.
“Leave.” Koke groans after ignoring the man's gesture. Ghost shakes his head with lightness off his visage but not a smile. He lets a gush down his nostrils. His large black eyes glitter. Mayhap he's sincere. There's no money to pull out of the lad's hand this time around.
“You're not this kind. I know you're kind.” Says the unwanted visitor. Koke clenches his jaw.
“I'm not kind, mind you. If you think you're going to stalk me for your remaining money, then I guess I'll also have to keep you busy.” With that, Koke turns with confident force and makes it to his door which he swiftly unlocks, opens and bangs behind him.
Ghost has one hand in the sweatpants pocket whilst the other pulls at the poor hair on his chin and cheeks. His eyes expose fury out of this world as he looks fixedly at the accountant's door.

~The picture at the beginning is my imagination of Koke's neighbourhood~
This chapter was supposed to be as long as the record holds the secret. But, I developed a feeling towards the end of Ghost's interaction with Koke that my readers might really need a shorter chapter this time, just for a break from the longer versions that I've been publishing. I hope my feeling ticks the box. But if there's any bit of disappointment due to the chapter's shortness, a compensation is looming and the lengthy cruise returns with more to this book.
So, what brotherhood is the surprise stalker talking about? How much does Ghost know Koke? Is the street fella's balance still in existence? Or the junior accountant is keeping his promise of keeping the guy busy?
It's all building up. The mystery continues.
The Story Continues....
