After nearly three years of writing, editing and publishing, I finally managed to publish the last chapter of my sixth novel. I'm glad for having reached that milestone and I decided to come up with these closing remarks to mark how special such a moment is to me as a writer. I love my hobby and thus I wouldn't let such an opportunity as coming up with an afterword slip.

The idea of writing FALSE Clairvoyance surfaced in my mind in late 2020 and I came up with story ideas and plots to start the book with and in Feb 2021, I started working on the novel. After I'd written a satisfactory part of the book in more than two notepads, I decided to start editing and publishing the parts I'd finished here on Wattpad and that can probably explain why some updates really came quick. There were weeks when I even updated twice!

I continued expanding the plots I hadn't layed out in ink and when one chapter was left to complete the story, the space in the fifth pad wasn't enough to accommodate it and so I waited until December 2023 to write it digitally—without pen and paper and it is the only part of FALSE Clairvoyance without inked evidence.

The writing was fine and time consuming given that I had to expertly expand my story ideas without losing track of the flow. When I hit the editing and publishing road, things seemed good first but as the story progressed, I got stressed. The media inclusion became a hassle and the publication of certain chapters was also a headache. I learned my lesson and so I'll barely add images to any of my next Wattpad projects after all, I do not own most of them and copyright infringement might catch up with me the more I try to impress my readers in that manner.

My phone broke down along the way amidst a break I'd decided to persue and thus the completion of this book was extended by two months or so. But I aimed to finish it anyway, regardless of how busier I'd gotten after the break and repair of my gadget.

By the time I wrote this epilogue, FALSE Clairvoyance had accumulated 37 reads but I wasn't really worried about the number of reads as I hoped that number would grow with time. I'd wanted to submit the novel in for a Wattys but my morale to do so diminished every time I read and thought about the rules of the contest.

Let me not forget to mention how I zealously shared the newly published chapters on my profile and elsewhere on my socials, trying to give a sneak peek of what was to be expected.

To wind up, it's been a typical writing journey but here we are, typing the last part of it. Thanks for the reads so far and those that will come in the future. I'm also appreciative to Wattpad for giving me the space to edit and publish my sixth novel. I became illy critical of the platform for the failures I encountered during this journey but all in all, it is with gratitude that I comment because it is a free space and shit happens.

See you in my other works here and there.

Yours truly,

Mukasa Ramadhan.
