Koke and two of the policemen walk to the former's home, the accountant leading the way. He looks too tired already and it's getting dark. The willowy cop apologises for his behaviour and statements back at the station.
“It's fine.” The case reporter mutters while the cop house behind them thins out of appearance.
“But sincerely, if it were me, I'd first fuck the hell out of her before dragging her to the police.” The slender lawman says. The other police officer jestingly slaps the fellow on the back of his shoulder as he suppresses laughter. Koke only glances at the slim one.
The suspect is not at the reporter's residence at the time of their arrival. They search everywhere, including the neighbourhood but there's no sign of a delusional lady. Another team searches the accountant's home, taking with them Halima's underwear.
As instructed earlier, Koke heads back to the police station for questioning. He faces the older cop, his appearance alone reporting how bad the day turns out. With no change in attire, his hand still clutches the straps of his single-shoulder bag.

Bob's junior accountant is sitting with his back leaning on the backrest of the office chair. His pointer finger lies parallel to his upper lip just below his nose. He's staring almost blankly while Mary looks down at her desk, her middle and index fingers touching her forehead. Thumb on cheek and the other two digits dangling near her nose. The rest of the forearm is propped on the armrest of the black office chair that looks similar to the one Koke is occupying across the light-brown table. She shakes her head with her hand still supporting it.
“This is a mess.” She comments, freeing her head and letting both arms fall to her lap. “I'm so sorry you had to go through all of this.” She shakes her head again, this time around with a pout. “But I really have to assure you. I'm not part of this. Believe me. I wouldn't send Halima to do what she did after everything I'd known about you. I wouldn't.” She looks at the lad pleadingly.
Koke says nothing. He only subtly shakes his head, his finger still above his lip. Not even a glance does he spare for the manager. The woman sighs. “I'm thinking that you need a break to think through this. You can head back home and, you know....” She offers.
“I don't want to go back to that place. I feel like the memories alone will worsen the situation.”
“So are you going to stay here? And work? After all the disturbance? You need a week off in my suggestion.”
“I'll make it out of this, Mary. I'll be fine. It isn't even a month since I returned.” He nearly rolls his eyes at the last statement.
The lady looks at him, her expression sad and dubious. “Take it from me. Such situations can be traumatising. I thought I could help, anyway.” She shrugs.
“Thanks for everything. Perhaps, on the days when I can't make it, I'll always inform you.” Koke's eyes dart to her face, catching her worried expression. They look at each other, both visages not happy at all.
“Alright.” Mary mutters.
Halima is suspended from Bob's for two weeks on the junior accountant's request to the manager. The news spreads around though no reason is given to the employees for her temporary discontinuation. Some tittle-tattles contact Mary for titillating details but she declines to answer. She doesn't hold it for so long though and since she's a friend to all her consociates, she lets them know about the situation.
Mary apologises to Koke with the explanation that the fellows at Bob's need to know or else, it is seen as if Halima and the manager are having a dispute. The former secretary mentions not the name or position of the employee who's the victim of Halima's sexual misconduct.
