Koke is a mix blood with a long-lost Italian father. He's Fina's first son in line with three other kids. Fina and Aldo Castro part ways after mysterious misapprehensions. On top of that, the Caucasian's physical presence in Uganda vanishes for a full year and Fina can't take any more of it. She stresses that the fella ought to be around to see his son. His flesh and blood need to feel his touch even if twice a year. If even a single time in twelve months is a hard target, then something is fishy.
Aldo is caught up with travel in connection to his anonymous job that Koke says perhaps requires his dad to have an independent suit-only closet.
The accountant's parents are not even married when they separate. The Italian father makes as many attempts as possible to send money for the care of his son in Africa but Fina is egotistical. Her job and connections seem to be a sufficient source for her and her child's well-being. The rift is one to remember for the reason that Koke's mother considers leaving Uganda for South Africa to escape noise.
She's a well-educated woman who quickly swoops deals on her arrival to Mzansi. With time, she establishes herself into the property management sector. After eight years, Koke's mum finds a South African man to whom she gets married, bearing three kids with him for the last ten years.
Koke's stepdad returns home once every month or twice as a surprise to check on the family. He too has work trips to get him paid, but he misses not any of their birthdays.
Marion: I understand.
That's after the junior accountant's narration about himself and the people close to him. His new contact's love for minors is outspoken. Anyone can even tell so off her mind. No wonder, Bob's employee grabs a chance to be right about that.
To Marion: Something tells me you got no kids. Sooo....Why the push on me?
Marion: Yeah. I got no kid yet but I'll have when the right time comes.
To Marion: Impressive! Go girl! ✊....But wait....Are you a girl or a woman? Please, verify to me your age before I disrespect you any further.
And....By the right time, what do you mean?Marion: 🤭🤭🤭. You can call me anything you prefer. I'm fine. Mmmm....
About the right time, for my case, I mean the time when I get independent....Fully independent. But as for now, I'm still under my mum's roof and the neighbourhood is a mess....It's noisy and I don't want my child to grow up in such an environment. To Marion: Typical 😏....And please, I'm extra sensitive today. I'm sensing that you wanna skip something.
Marion: Okay....Okay. Relax bro. I only forgot to tell you that. Don't push. Caress.
To Marion: Massage
Marion: You don't want to dig your nails into my skin.
To Marion: Just promise to tell me your life length digits.
Marion: Alright. You win. I'm 30.
Koke's eyes browse the screen.
Marion: I know you are surprised. You know, people of my age shouldn't be living with their parents and all that stuff, I shouldn't have a lot of time for texts....Bla bla bla.
But yeah, I'm 30.
Still single and searching.Bob's junior accountant is gaping at the screen as if reading that attention-catching moment of a novel. More texts arrive from his new friend explaining herself more.
At thirty, she should be making marriage plans. One guy meets her in her early twenties only to break her maidenhood and dump her afterwards. That tantamounts to a lesson Marion keeps on referring to up to today. She asks herself how blind she turns out to be not to see the rake behind the guy's face.
