It's been about ten months since Andy and Robert found their way back to each other. They went out on dates and grew closer than ever before. They understood each other better than anyone else. Little did they know what their future had instore for them. Two months after they got back together, they found themselves no being able to keep their hands off each other and started to kiss. The kiss quickly turned into a deep, passionate kiss. Robert started to kiss Andy's neck, and she let out a small moan. They both started taking clothes off, and Robert picked Andy up and threw her on the bed and climbed on top of her. He slowly entered her, and they made sweet passionate love. Andy never bothered to continue her birth control, because with Robert she felt safe and didn't see the need to and Robert didn't use a condom, he never had, so why would he start now. They found themselves making that their nightly routine, they didn't want to feel distant again. They spent days off going out to the park for walks, out to dinner, or just spent nights at home watching movies and cooking together. They went to work together; the team was happy to see Andy and Robert back together and happy. Andy was now the captain of 19 and Robert made his way back to battalion chief, they hadn't talked about having kids, or getting remarried, they just wanted to live in the moment.

A few months later Andy and Robert were at work, Andy wasn't quite feeling like herself. She kept feeling like she was going to pass out and was pale, that didn't go unnoticed by Robert or Vic. Andy and Vic have gotten really closer over the past year, and they talk to each other about everything. Vic brought his concerns to Robert and they both went to her off to see if she was ok. When they got there Andy was passed out and right away Robert ran to her and picked her up and told Vic were taking her to Grey Sloan you're driving. They got in the aid car and drove to the hospital. Once they arrived, Meredith and Miranda were waiting to take Andy to an exam room. They started Andy on an IV then ran blood tests, urine tests, and an ultrasound. Andy had come back around, and she was scared, it took a lot for her to get scared but not knowing what was going on had her worried. They waited a couple hours when finally, Meredith and Miranda came walking in with Dr. Addison Montgomery. Robert gripped Andy's hand and they looked at each other with concern seeing a third doctor walk in. Andy looked at Meredith and asked her what was going on. Meredith introduces them to Addison and told her that she will be taking over her case. Robert and Andy grew even more scared. That's when Addison spoke, hi Andy I'm doctor Montgomery, first I would like to say congratulations you are pregnant with twins, and I will be keeping an eye on your pregnancy being as twins are high risk pregnancies. Your about four months pregnant and due on Christmas Day. Andy started to cry, and looked over at Robert, and he had the look of shock on his face. Vic walked back to check on Andy and when she got to her room and saw them crying, she went into the room, when she walked in Addison was doing an ultrasound and when she looked at the screen and saw a heartbeat, she looked at Andy and Robert and smiled. Omg I'm going to be an Auntie and Andy smiled hearing that. She looked at Robert and said babe, what are we going to do? Our apartment isn't big enough to add two babies, and how will we get by with work if I must be out? Robert told her they would make it work, and Vic volunteered to be with Andy when Robert was on shift. Robert liked that idea and so did Andy.

Once Andy was discharged and Robert took her home. She was exhausted so Robert suggested she go up and take a nap, so she took him up on that and went up for a nap. Leaving Robert and Vic in the living room. He turned to Vic and said can you keep a secret? She said absolutely. Robert smiled, so Andy and I have been looking at houses to get ideas at what we would want when the time came to buy a house, I want to surprise Andy with a house. Vic smiled and said as much as Andy hates surprises, she would love this one. I'm going to step out and go see my realtor can you stay here with Andy? Absolutely, Vic responded.

It was about a month before Andy's due date and the babies were growing and healthy. Robert had bought their house and had been working on it and painting the bedrooms, and all the rooms in the house. He found them a beautiful five bedroom, two bath house and he knew Andy would love it. Once the babies were here, they would share a room until they got a little older, they were so excited when they found out the babies' genders. They were having a boy and a girl. They planned how the baby's nursery would be decorated, and how they wanted their bedrooms to be decorated. Their son would have a firetruck bedroom and their daughter would have a dance room. Two things Andy and Robert loved firefighting and salsa dancing. While Vic hung out with Andy, Theo was at the house helping Robert prepare the house to bring Andy to show her. Robert told Andy to go ahead and pick out everything she wanted for the twins, and she was so excited to start buying things for the babies.

It was a few days til the twins due date. Robert had the whole day planned, he took Andy to lunch at her favorite place, then told her to close her eyes on the drive to their house. She kept trying to guess where they were going but he wouldn't tell her. Vic and Theo were there waiting for Andy and Robert to get to the house. Once they arrived, Robert helped Andy out of the car and Vic was video recording to get Andy's reaction. Robert and Theo spent countless hours getting the babies rooms done and the house together. As Andy stood in front of the car, Robert told her to open her eyes. Once she did she cried at the sight of the house in front of her. She was in shock that Robert had come up with this huge surprise and bought them a house. When they went inside Andy was so excited with each room, once they got to the twins bedrooms she cried happy tears, and loved how Robert decorated their bedrooms. Robert, my love, thank you for everything you have done, our babies and I are so lucky to have you in our lives. When can we start living here Andy asked? We can stay tonight if you want. Robert had a tree set up in the living room and they decorated it together. It was now Christmas Eve, and they were having their team over for dinner. Once everyone was done with dinner, they went into the living room and sat around the tree and exchanged gifts. When it was Roberts turn to give Andy his gift, he dropped down on one knee in front of Andy and asked her to marry him? YES, Andy replied and hugged and kissed him. Andy suddenly let go of Robert and looked down at the floor, oh my gosh, babe my water just broke. Robert was in shock and couldn't move so the team helped get him and Andy to the hospital. A few hours later, their son Lucas Michael Sullivan was born first at 12:01AM and two minutes later their daughter Ella Victoria Sullivan was born. Both babies were strong and healthy and weighed 5lbs 2oz. Robert and Andy were holding their babies when Robert looked at Andy and said Merry Christmas my love. Our Christmas miracles are here.
