Station 19 was filled with the sound of laughter and Christmas music. The smell of vanilla wafted through the air as Andy entered through the door. It was Christmas eve, and the station was filled with everyone's family and loved ones coming to celebrate with them as they had the unfortunate luck of having to be on shift that night. They had all shared a beautiful meal prepared by Carina, Jack, and Bailey a little earlier in the evening and now it was time for everyone to open presents. They had decided to play Secret Santa this year and with Andy's luck, she drew her ex-husband. For weeks she pondered on the perfect gift to get him and finally found the perfect one. Even though they had been divorced for over a year at this point she still cared so much about him, she still loved him. She had wanted to ask him to try again so many times but figured he had moved on and she shouldn't keep her hopes high. So, she tried to move on but failed miserably. A tiny part of her was hoping this gift could maybe make him see that she still loved him and maybe, just maybe, give them another chance at their marriage. Everyone else had already opened their gifts and found out who their Secret Santa was, now it was Andy's turn to give her gift to Robert. She had to go outside to get her gift from the person that brought it, and she prayed Robert would like it. As she made her way up the stairs with her gift in tow, her heart skipped a few beats as she thought about Robert's reaction. She put her gift in the locker room and closed the door as she made her way to the kitchen where everyone was talking, drinking, and having fun. She found Robert sitting with Pru on his lap reading a Christmas book. Her heart tightened at the sight as she thought how that could've been their baby sitting on his lap if they hadn't gotten divorced. Passing the sadness aside, she walked over to them and tapped Robert's shoulder slightly.

"Hey, what's up?" he smiled up at her and her heart skipped a beat. He still made her feel like no one else had ever made her feel.

"I just wanted to give you your gift, but I see you're busy" she tickled Pru's little belly as she said that and heard her cute giggle. Robert closed the book and kissed Pru's head telling her to go play with her new toys and that they'd finish the book a bit later.

"So, um, do you want to do it here or?" he looked around at her empty hands, and she realized how mysterious she must seem.

"Come with me" she grabbed his hand on instinct and hadn't realized it until a warmth spread through her whole body and she felt her cheeks flush. She dropped his hand and couldn't help but notice a bit of disappointment on his face as she did. As they came in front of her room, she turned around to face him.

"So, I really hope you like your present, I spent a lot of time thinking about what to get you and then remembered one of our late-night conversations and how you told me that you asked your parents for this every Christmas and never got it" his face light up brighter than the lights that twinkled on the Christmas tree.

"Andy... You didn't..." she just smiled as she opened the door, and a tiny pitter-patter of paws could be heard running towards him. He dropped to his knees as the puppy ran into his arms and started licking his whole face. His laughter was contagious, she had never seen him this happy. The puppy was almost as happy as he was as she wagged her tail and snuggled into his arms. Having calmed down a little he picked up the puppy and stood up, tears filling his eyes.

"You remembered?" he said in disbelief.

"Of course, I did. I know how bad you've always wanted a German shepherd and I just thought maybe this year your wish could come true" she smiled watching as he watched her with so much love in his eyes the way he once used to.

"Andy...thank you, this means a lot to me" it was the first time she had seen him at the loss of his words, and she found it so cute.

"Come on, let's go show everyone what Santa got you. I think Pru might be a bit jealous though" he laughed and held out his hand to her. Her belly filled with butterflies as his thumb grazed over her knuckles and he smiled down at her. As they made their way out of the locker room and into the kitchen, everyone turned their heads to see them, and a wave of squeals was let out as Robert put down the puppy and she made her way to greet everyone.

"You got a puppy?!? Man, I wish Andy was my Secret Santa" Vic crossed her arms and huffed dramatically.

"Hey, I thought you liked the gift I got you!" Travis chimed in, hand on his chest pretending to be hurt by Vic's statement. Everyone shared a laugh and started tending to the puppy, petting her, and giving her kisses. As Andy and Robert watched everyone play with the puppy and Pru, they looked at each other and smiled.

"Ahem, you guys" Vic pointed to the mistletoe above their heads and winked. They both blushed and Andy was about to tell him they didn't have to kiss but before she could open her mouth, she felt a warm pair of lips on hers and a hand around her waist pulling her in. She deepened the kiss, getting on her tiptoes and putting her hands around his neck. She pulled away as everyone cheered, and Vic whistled at them. Robert laughed and just pulled her closer to him.

"We'll have to talk about everything of course, but do you want to try again? That would be the best gift you could ever give me for Christmas" he leaned in and whispered in her ear.

"Yes, thousand times yes" she kissed him and hugged him tightly, vowing to herself to never let him go again. Maybe Christmas miracles do happen after all...
