Author's POV:
"I like her more than my son." You heard Taehyung's mom say and smiled at her.
"That's my pleasure..." She patted your head as you were enjoying her delicious food. It had been nearly a year of your relationship with Taehyung now. You both had developed a beautiful relationship now.
You both joked around, played together, argued and got back again... it was quite a journey of ups and downs.
At times, your title of being a divorcee had also hit you both but it was okay. He always assured you that he loved you.You learnt about his past online relationship and it was quite funny. A childish relationship, it was. You learnt about his family, his friends, his school and stories you never could've imagined.
You loved learning about him. If there was a book about him, you'd memorize it in a day.And now, you were at his house. For the 5th time this year. And his parents treated you so well, you loved it.
Taehyung brought in a bowl of fruits as you smiled at him. He sat beside you, whispering, "Fruits are good for you. Eat them! They're fresh."
You took a piece of apple and fed it to him instead, shutting him up. He smiled as his mother stared at you both in awe. His father chuckled from far away."Gosh... may I steal this pretty sister-in-law of mine from you after you marry her?" Tzuyu asked as Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"Though you're my twin, f-ck off."
"Taehyung!" His mother scolded as he sighed. You chuckled. He suddenly got a call from a patient and went away as you heard his mom, "Thank you for choosing our son... he's not the best one out there but he's... a real one."
"I didn't choose him... He was meant for me, come on!" You smiled.—Time skip
"See you, mom!" Taehyung waved at his mother as you bid them goodbyes. Getting in the car, you expected Taehyung to start the car immediately but instead, he looked at you for a minute.
"I love you."
You looked at him, a little startled and smiled, "I love you too."He kissed your knuckles, starting the car. On your way, you stared out the window and wondered how love had struck you hard. You remembered your crazy moments, your funny moments, those sad angsty moments.
It was winter, yet again. But it felt warm. Because Taehyung had put his special blanket on your lap before starting the car. You clutched onto the blanket and stared outside.
You stared at the beautiful view of Han River but frowned when you heard the car stop. You looked at him confused. The sun was setting and it was becoming dark. Snow hadn't struck yet but it was near."What's wrong?" You asked as Taehyung sighed, "Get out of the car."
"Huh?"
"Get out of the car."Your frown made him want to smile but he didn't. He just gestured for you to get out with his head, making you gasp.
"No way are you leaving me here!"
"Just get out first, will you?"
You scoffed but got out anyway.
"What now?!" You asked, irritated. You rolled your eyes, mentally praying he wouldn't leave with the car. It honestly would make 0 sense if he did.He suddenly got out and walked in front of you, "Lee Y/N."
"Yes?" You asked, confused and irritated at the same time. He walked towards you and held your hands, taking a deep breath. What was wrong?
"You look nervous. Are you okay?" You asked, your voice had that 'I'm still annoyed' edge. He smiled a little, shaking his head. But nodded again.
"I just... I..." He sighed and looked into your eyes, "Marry me.""Huh?!" Your eyes were wide as he looked down, "I mean... marry me. I'm not asking you. I'm telling you. You have to. I'm... I'm not letting you go anywhere. You're stuck... with me. The way I am with you."
You tilted your head, staring at him. A strange feeling arose in you. You felt happy, nervous, loved, anxious, scared, and confused... all at once.
