Basil starts to cry first, and Kel rushes to hug him. Hero just stares. Aubrey vomits.
"You're joking." Hero says, and starts to smile. "That's really funny."
"I'm not."
"Its just a joke... oh- or maybe he tripped... he tripped, right? He tripped. That sucks... But it could've happened to anyone... at least he didn't do it on purpose. He tripped he tripped he tripped." Hero reasuress himself.
Aubrey opens her mouth to argue but decides to stay silent.
A day later, Basil is discharged from the hospital.
