A/N Just warning you, I have no idea why I wrote this chapter...
"I still don't understand why it has to be PJ." Zac's leaning against the candy counter, inconsiderately leaving his co-workers to deal with the Friday night movie rush. "I don't want him and you showing off a whole lot of PDA. It's weird."
"What? Are you jealous?" I lean in closer to him, smiling mischievously.
"Yeah. A little." He says, leaning in the rest of the way and giving me a peck on the lips.
I laugh. "You know you've got nothing to worry about, right? I like you, and only you. But no more kissing me because PJ or Jordan could arrive at any minute."
"Oh man. Imagine Jordan's confusion if he saw you with me and then PJ." Zac laughs out loud. "And how long do you think we should keep this from PJ anyway, or Josh or Cooper?"
"Let's not open that box just yet." I say. The guys knowing about Zac and me completely weirds me out. The idea of us together would probably weird them out a whole lot too, and I can't imagine the amount of jokes they would make. Zac knows just as well as me that they won't be able to help making fun at us, while also making our entire group feel uncomfortable.
"Hey! Ally!" I turn around to see PJ walking through the cinema doors. When he gets closer he murmurs, "You ready for this?" while looking around a little suspiciously. He's clearly not the most amazing at special operations.
Zac laughs. "Dude, don't worry. He's not here yet."
PJ immediately loosens up. "So, Al, do you wanna practice?" He waggles his eyebrows at me and Zac visibly tenses.
"Nah. I think we're pretty darn great already. Don't you, Zac?"
"I know you are." He gives me a secretive smirk, causing PJ to look between us in confusion.
"By the way, I've been meaning to ask you guys," PJ starts, "What was with that thing on the beach yesterday?"
"Thing?"
"Yeah. When Zac kissed you?"
Oh crap I forgot he saw that. I give Zac a look of panic and his expression mirrors mine. Clearly he hadn't realised this either. Well, I guess this is as good a time as any to tell PJ. Zac starts to open his mouth to speak when I catch Jordan walking through the doors.
"He's here." I interrupt before Zac can say a word. I pick up my purse and push through a family on their way to the bathroom, walking straight towards Jordan.
"Hey." He gives me a warm smile, when all I can see is a cold traitor.
"Hey." I say back enthusiastically. "What movie have you chosen today?"
"None other than Fast and Furious 7." He grins, showing off two pre-bought tickets. "I knew you really wanted to see it." It's a sweet gesture on his part, but I know he's just using me so I don't care. This just goes to show how much I've changed over this Lindsey period. The old me would have been thrilled that some guy actually bought me some movie tickets, and the fact that he picked a movie I actually liked would have been a bonus.
