3. Friendship Proposal!

After all the rituals, he was now free.
He was stepping up the stairs when he got a chain on his way. It was a beautiful one as if someone made it with pure love and affection. It do also have a small heart shaped photo Locket. He was going to open it but then he stopped realizing that this world be wrong checking other's personal stuffs. He checked downstairs and saw that Rai was looking here and there searching something. And then he confirmed that it was her.
He tapped her shoulders from behind.
She got up and turned back to me
"Tum ise dhund rahi thi?" he asked her. She looked at my hand and literally got excited snatched it from him. "Thank you" she hugged him at the very next moment. Then she ran to her room. "Strange isn't it" he thought for sometime.

Days passed. Each day didn't passed if they didn't crossed their paths. They always end up with bumping each other.  As Keshav always want to be friendly with her. She always wants to keep a low profile with everyone. Being introvert and depressed she always keep calm and wants to look mature.

One day when Keshav returned from office all tired he saw Rai complaining about her teachers at college.
“What happened?” he asked his mother. She was about to answer that Rai was having problems with her studies when Rai stopped her and lied him. “Nothing just college...” she smiled and managed to make him believe. Keshav stared her for a while then he made his way to his room.
Vasanti glared her at disbelief before following him upstairs.
“Keshav.. I have to talk something with you.” Vasanti came inside his room.

Keshav:- Aai what happened?
Vasanti:- I was thinking ummm... Can you tutor Rai?
Keshav:- What no no... She is so boring...
Vasanti:- You don't know her...you just met before two three days ago. How you know she is boring? Spent some time with her.. you will see how she is.

Keshav:- Aai you don't believe me.. I tried to be friendly with her. Seems she talk very less. And moreover leave her. She is not related to us anyway.

Vasanti glared him as he said ‘Not related’. “Now speaking the truth is also wrong. Just because this truth hurts her is wrong? For her you all forgot me!” he raised his voice against Vasanti.

“Tu janna chahta hai na ki wo humse kaisi related hain? Toh sun.”

“And from then we never raised voice against her... She is very sensitive yet so strong.” she ended up with telling why Rai is so precious for them.

Keshav hugged her mother as she was about to cry. He felt sorry for Rai. She is silent but had hidden many emotions in her eyes.

“Just become one of her best friend. Jabse uska dost America gaya hai tab se woh muh latkaye baithi hui hai.”

Keshav thought for a while and smirked as something brewed up in his naughty mind.

“Fine! I will tutor her..But please don't tell her it will be a surprise... just wait and watch Aai!” he agreed in a dramatic way.

“Come have your dinner first.”
Vasanti chuckled at his antics.
After having their dinner, Rai went upstairs to study. Little did she knew what gonna happen with her.

She just entered in the room when she spotted a big spider on the floor.
“Aah!” she screamed and turned back to escape instead she got bumped with a manly figure. She looked up and ensured that it was none other than Keshav. She felt her heartbeats faster after seeing him so close to her.  She separated from him. “Sorry...I'm scared of Spiders.” she said it without meeting with his eyes.
Keshav rubbed his nose and entered her room randomly. Rai scratched her hairs as she didn't know what is happening with her.
“Prince.. You should sleep by now... Other wise you will have dark circles under your eyes at so young age.” she advised him.
“O... I see but someone younger than me seems somewhat older than me..” he said while looking down to her notebook.
Rai being confused him innocently asked him, “whom are you talking about?”
At now Rai was completely confused as after her asking the question Keshav suddenly began to laugh like a maniac.
Rai crossed her hands and waited for his answer.
“Oh Gawd! This girl...." He stopped. He stood up and came infront of her just to show the unsolved question on her notebook.
“Don't pressurize   yourself too..” he rubbed her hairs.
His concern towards her made her cheeks slightly red. 

“My final exams are coming nearby just two months left.. and that's why a little stress... No such big deal. You don't worry... Now go and sleep. Goodnight” she showed him the way to go outside the door.
“No way! I'm your new tutor.” he said while sitting on the chair confusing her more.
“What! I don't need anyone's help.” she sternly said him.
He stood up and made her to sit on the bed.

“From tomorrow onwards we will start our studies.” he ended and stepped back to go out of the room.
She waited until he went outside. After she thought he had gone, she quickly went to door step. As she was closing the door, she jerked as he suddenly jumped from the side of the door infront of her.

“Keep the same smile on your face, you look beautiful...”
Saying this he went inside his room.
But here Rai was drowned in thoughts. Till now no guy has complemented her. She chuckled remembering his complement.
“Haha very funny Rai!” she mentally scolded her as she realised that what she was thinking.

Next morning. Keshav spotted Rai down at the dining room. He came down.  Rai was having her breakfast scrolling her phone but suddenly she got surprised and her phone fell from her hands as Keshav suddenly came near her which frightened her.
“You?” she asked annoyingly.

“Why... This is my house I can come here... Main naachu..gaoon.. yaha jo bhi karoon It's all about my wish.” Keshav  replied simply grabbing an apple.

“Btw Good morning Aishwarya ki Rai” he waved his palm front of her eyes.

“ Good Morning” she said casually.

“Well let me drop you today at your college.” he asked her.

“Prince it's not needed.” she hesitated. But Keshav convinced her after requesting her again and again.

“Ok.. Fine!” she smiled seeing his antics.

While when he was driving, there was no conversation. Rai was listening music in her headphone. But she confused as suddenly Keshav stopped the car. She removed her headphone and asked him what happened.

“Get out!” he ordered her.
She obeyed him. She didn't knew what happened to him so sudden.

“What do you think of yourself?” he asked. “I'm continuously getting bored here and you are listening music alone?” he said being irritated.

“Then okay I will not listen music...” she said innocently. Keshav sighed in diabelief. “Rai we live in the same house.. Can't you talk normally?” he asked holding her shoulders.

His sudden act of touching her made her heartbeats faster.

“Rai? Am I not that cool to become a friend of yours?”

“You want to become my friend?” she asked surprisingly.

“Yes.... will you be my friend?” he asked looking directly into her sharp brown orbs.

Rai found peace and comfort in his emotions. It was true.

She broadly smiled and hugged him tightly. “Prince Keshav.. be ready to deal my wildest craziest life.” she said whispering him on his neck.

Her sudden action made him shocked.
They parted and went to the college.

“Don't call me Prince just Keshav..”

“No you are like elder brother to me.”

“What Brother?”
“I mean you are elder than me right? So how can I address you by your name?”

“It doesn't matter just call me Keshav.”

“Fine! Ke.. Keshav.” She chuckled.

Days passed like this. Keshav and Rai became friends not just friends but Rai developed some feelings for him.
