4. Not Single Yet Not Mingled

As days passed, they became more friendly like always they use to pull pranks with each other. During these days, Rai seems more worry free with her studies. After Keshav came in her life she got a new friend to share everything with him. And it was same for Keshav. He got to see a new different side of Rai just different from his thoughts. She is no more the silent introvert girl. Their closeness made slowly Rai to develop some feelings  for him which she is unaware of.

One day Keshav brought her to the resort .She unknowingly blushed when she realised the resort was a dating site.
“Keshav, why you brought me here? Huh?” she asked.
“Isn't it beautiful?” he asked nervously.

“Well... Order a coffee first... Then I will say if the place is suitable for proposing me...” she blurted out.
She saw Keshav numb and realised what she said. “You...OMG! Why do you always have a  thought. Don't overthink it's a girly job.”

“Excuse me ... Rai... I'm sorry but who said you I'm gonna propose you?” he laughed at her.

When he said he is not proposing him, she ensured that it's not her but another girl. A strange feeling of pain stabbed her. As she didn't realise that she is in love with him.

Keshav noticed how she was pressing her lips.. for a while he thought he might hurt her. He sat near her and elbowed her shoulders. “Are you crying?” he asked in a feeble tone.
But indeed he got surprised as what made his question to make her laugh.

She was laughing like a maniac.
“Keshav? You don't have to be sorry.. I don't expect anything from you.. I too don't have any other feelings for you other than being friends.... I forgot to mention that I already have a Boyfriend. Aai knows it. And moreover I didn't mentioned that you will propose me...” she laughed.

“You have a Boyfriend?” he asked seriously.

“Yes why not?” she said while stirring the foam in the coffee.

“Look into my eyes...” he asked holding her tightly.
She sighed and and said straightly “Yes Keshav, I do have a boyfriend for whom I was depressed he went to America for his studies. And he will return within two months. I love him.”

Keshav got angry as he is now sure that she wasn't telling lying.  “Who the fuck is that guy?” he asked.

“O Mind your Language! Aditya Agarwal.”

“Prince, Aditya is a very good friend. We are like friends.. so don't worry he is good.

“Calm down Keshav calm down..” he calmed down himself.

“Well I was just being possessive about my best friend.” he stated.

“Best Friend?” she looked up on him.
“No I thought I'm just a female friend of yours.” she shifted her gaze to her COFEEE.

“Well in these days I found really a trust worthy  friend whom I can share everything. And that is you Rai.”

“Hmmm.. I see” she sipped her coffee. She looked through her phone and a smile tugged up on her lips.

Long time no contact?
