Deal To Love

A Chance!

Rai frowned feeling a soft touch on her forehead. Keshav cuddled her tiny frame in his embrace. He knew that she wouldn't mind if he hugged her without her permission. He knew her feelings but not hers. But he hoped that this feelings are not the kind of attraction of obsession but a feeling of new, fresh pure love.

I frowned feeling a tight grip on my waist. And I know he is Keshav. He use to place a kiss on my forehead  which I felt everytime whenever I feel sick. The thing was why I got sick was Vijay. But what could I do now. I just wish that wherever his soul is now should be happy. Vijay must get Padma back in his life.  It was just then I realised that Vijay's love story abruptly ended like Raja Shivam. How sad.... All great love stories have a sad ending. My sleep broke when the grip on my waist loosened.

I stretched my arms and looked at the bright day outside the window. A new life is awaiting for me. But here I wasn't ready actually to excel the journey. All my thoughts were now came upto a point which was of Keshav.

“Rai?” I came out of my thoughts when I heard Keshav calling my name.
He stood there holding a tray. While I motioned him to sit on his bed.

Well yes I realised it was his bed. I was lying the whole damn night on his bed. I mentally slapped myself. But then I frowned looking up at Keshav who was giggling.

“Wow! I'm here sick and you are giggling?” I fake cried.

He kept the tray at his study table and sat near me. “You are cute..” he put the strand near my ear. I didn't have any idea what happened to him. Sometimes I used to think that he will be the one who would fill the vacant in the mental hospitals too.

“You are weird?” I said peeping at the tray he brought.

He took the bowl from the tray and put a morsel in my mouth. It was kheer. “You didn't blushed at my complement now?” he said while putting another morsel.

“ Pardon?” I asked again intentionally to hear from his mouth. So shameless.

“You are beautiful.. Rai” he looked at my eyes. While I hiccuped and my cheeks felt some burning sensation.

“ See you are blushing now..” he said while wiping my lips from his finger.

“Say something Miss Rai well sorry Mrs  Rai Singhania.” he continued his handsome  talks while feeding me.

I looked up at his eyes and pinched myself if I was hearing right. And damn it was true.  I saw Keshav smirking.

“ You did something crazy right?” I asked him and what he replied made me crazy. My heart pounded when he said. “ I don't want to leave you. Afterall I stole your first kiss and virginity.”  he smirked at me.

I was lacking expressions then as if my tongue got tangled and all my teeth fell off.

“ And I thought let's be a real couple. Atleast we can try to work out our marriage.” He mumbled as he lowered his face.

We stayed silent for a while. “Well... You have feelings.... for me?” I asked breaking the silence. Just like how a normal a best friend asks if he have  feelings for someone. And that someone was   *Me * !

“ I'm not sure till now. ” he said. And I nodded. I pressed my lips as I thought to tease him. I played along.

“ umm let me think about this.” I continued acting like I won't want to continue the relationship. I took a glance at his disturbed face.

It bothered him? Why?

“Uhm --- we'll get ready we are going Maharashtra...” he said before leaving the room.
