eshav went downstairs and gathered Aai and Baba along Ajji , Monica and Basant who knew what was going to happen within hours. The lives of the two will be going to change, their friendship, their relation, their bond and everything. Except Rai, all of them were aware of the concequences of the thing which gonna happen very soon.

“The lawyers will come today. I agreed with them with the contract made by Rai’s father.” Keshav stated making the family members shocked. “Rai? What about Rai? She doesn't know about the contract.” Vasanti asked.
“ You convince her. She have to do it. It's only for six months. And after that she will be freed.” Vasudev exclaimed.

“ For six months? ”  she exclaimed.
“Aai, I came here for this purpose only. The date today , I only gave from UK to the lawyers.” Keshav said. “That means all these friendship, closeness was all a drama?” Vasanti asked Keshav to answer her question.
In all these days, Keshav did that intentionally to get close to Rai. And he too feels guilty to deceive her and play with her emotions. But he also didn't knew that how that pretending changed into bunch of chuckles and giggles of friendship.

“Mr Kapoor sent me a letter when I was abroad. He only made me to come here and get close of her. But believe me, I like her a lot as the most trustworthy person in my life as the bestfriend but still I have to do it for her. To solve the mystery” saying this he left.

Rai’s POV.

ife was easy. Didn't knew that Destiny was planning something else for me.
I was writing my job application letter when I heard the knock on the door.

“Rai?” I heard Aai calling me. I opened the door. “Rai I have to talk something really important...” she rubbed her temples instantly.

I gave her water to calm down. “Rai... Look in all these years.... you know I never minded to answer why I looked you...as my own child.” she said.
It was true that I was very curious that why they chose me to bring me at their home but I didn't asked her because I always cared for her and her emotions.
“You don't want to know?” she asked.
“ My life was complete mess. When I was young my biological mother left me due to cancer. Life wasn't easy at all. Dad became both my mother and father. But God snatched him too. Maybe to get parents like you.. he helped me.” I said recalling my teenage with my father. I wiped my tears. “ You are always free to speak to me Aai..” I hugged her in a warm tight hug.
“ Since when you were at school, Vasudev was having a tea with his friend your father.... at their favourite Cafè....the most cornered one.. near the park.” she started to describe the story. Tears brimmed into her eyes recalling the dreadful memory.. I didn't knew this much happened. The only thing I knew was he took his last breath at the hospital bed.

“Aai.. this much happened...and you are telling me now?”

“ We were also clueless.. The last thing he said to Vasudev.. was to promise him whatever he will ask him.. but before asking the promise the fire mishap took place.” she paused for a second.

“ That night when I saw you, it reminded me of my sister. She was looking numb and cold just like the way you were looking at your father's dead body. I didn't wanted you to do the same thing that my sister did. After her husband died, she....suicided..” she broke in tears. I hugged her tightly. For the first time I saw her to cry like this much. She gulped down the lump and  wiped her tears. “ We were all clueless.. about the accident happened with him..but strange thing happened.. he already knew that he might leave the earth so he prepared something to secure his daughter.

She handed me a sheet of paper. I quickly opened the letter. It was not for me but for Keshav. I gulped down the lump. I really don't want Keshav read this letter. “Keshav read this?” I asked her nervously. She nodded.
