Deal To Love

A Good News?

“ Keshav? Won't you confess me? I wanted you to say those words. I know it's just stupid but it will comfort my heart at relief. When will you confess me?”

“ I need time..”

“ But what if I don't have that much?”

“Huh! Rai?” he turned and found her nowhere.

“Rai? Rai? Don't play hide and seek.. please come..” he rushed to find her everywhere he could but all in vain she was nowhere.

He fell on his knees.. fear engulfed him, his body shivered as all her voice echoed calling his name.. “Keshav? Keshav? Keshav?”

“Huh!” he jerked off and woke up seeing Rai holding his hands. He looked those eyes. “Rai are you okay?”
“ Arey baba.. what would happened to me.. tell me what happened to you now? You look nervous?” She asked showing her concern. Keshav poured the water into the glass from the jug and gulped the water in one go. He calmed down himself and held her shoulders. “You freshen up yourself. We will talk to Aai about our relationship...”

She nodded and gave a slight smile at him. She put on her sandles and went to the washroom. Meanwhile Keshav thought about his dream.

“Its just a dream come on.” He sighed and stood up to get up just to realise he was naked. He ruffled his hairs and slightly blushed as he was satisfied with the work he did last night. This was the very first time they did with their presence of mind. Keshav quickly wore a bathrobe before Rai came wearing a white short skirt with hot pink top. Keshav motioned her to sit beside him which she obeyed. Keshav plugged and switched on the dryer.
He started to dry her hair.

“ Keshav.. ?” “Huh?” he hummed in response.

Rai furiously got up and switched off the dryer.. “what's up!”

“ Tell me what's bothering you?”

“ No---nothing Rai.. come here back.”

“Keshav lying won't work with me.. you know right I can easily get you. Please tell me..”

“C'mon Rai it doesn't matter. I am fine.” “But--” “ Can't you understand my words? Please let me go to washroom.” He took his towel and went to the washroom.

Rai was shocked by his behaviour. He was never bad with her. But anyways she is happy and excited as Keshav will talk about their relationship with the family. “ Seems my wait is finally over...”

Keshav stepped out of the bathroom wearing clothes. He lastly combed his hair and took out his keys from his pockets. Rai followed him to downstairs. Keshav was walking a step   before Rai.

Rai. Keshav turned to Rai which Rai blinked her eyes...

“ T--Tum piche piche kyon chal rahi hon...?” he asked blankly.  “ I always do that it's your fault you never noticed.. however you only told me to walk behind you...”. She buckled her seat belt after closing the door.

“ O madam? When I told you?”

“ Since the damn your coronation day.. The Prince Keshav Singhania ordered me, hum agey agey tum peechey peechey.. ” She mimicked like him.

Keshav surprisingly looked at Rai.. “You obey me still now?” a slight redness on his cheeks was visible.

“Yes.. after all he is prince?

“ Rai? What do you think about me as a man?”

“Pardon? Can you make it easier to understand?”

“I mean what qualities you see in me physically?” He pressed her lips as he didn't want to look shy.

“Yaa you are okay!”

“only okay?”

“ Look for me looks don't matter.. but still I will say you are definitely a worth looking like a Prince. ”

“Rai.. Why are you talking with me.. I mean I heard that women don't talk with their man if they don't behaved well.. I shouted at you few minutes ago.. and it seems you are not angry...”

“Yup! I would if you have insulted me by shitty abuses but you didn't.  
And you know before a wife I'm your only bestfriend. So I got you.. If I were in your place I would do the same..”

Keshav smiled while focusing on the drive.

Their chit chats ended when they reached their destination.

“ Here they are...” Monica called Basant who was just about to dial them. Vasanti held their ears. “You kids... Kaha gaye the bolo ?”

Rai flinched. “Aai chodo toh sahi main batati hoon...” Vasanti left their ears and looked at both of them..

“Actually.. We went to the --- ” her words left incomplete when she rushed to her room upstairs. Monica looked at Vasanti confused. Vasanti looked at Keshav who was scratching his hairs nervously. Basant pressed his lips  looking at Keshav who silently asked him what is happening.

“I'm going upstairs to her.. okay... ” Keshav too rushed upstairs leaving the awkward atmosphere.

“Keshav?”

“You... Wha--What happened?”

“I don't know but I vomited.”

Keshav sighed as he thought nothing serious happened with her.

“ Are you sure.?”

“Yes.. Don't worry...” “Im just feeling little sleepy and tired.”

“ Oh! Okay..”

At evening Monica came to her room.

“What happened Rai? Are you okay?”

“Yaa.. just feeling little dizzy you know.. Well it's nothing to worry about.”

“Didn't you threw up today morning?”

Rai nodded positively and stopped for a second. She caught Monica's intentions.

“ Rai.. it will be better if you do this.” Monica forwarded a pregnancy test kit  towards her. Meanwhile Rai was dumbfounded to digest the fact. She shrugged off thoughts that were disturbing her all over.

“ No Monica di.. it isn't like that. I am not.  Please take it away.. Moreover I'm so young.. how can I?”

“Don't talk nonsense! I know very well... You both had  sex living there alone. And it isn't a shame. Please I'm keeping it there.” Saying this she went off from there.

All the moments flashed in her mind. She was nervous. With shaking hands she held the kit and went to bathroom.

“Rai? Where are you? Have you seen my black shirt?” Keshav entered the room calling his wife. But instead he found Rai coming from bathroom holding something in her hand. It tok no second for to recognise what is it...
He looked up at her face which looked dull and sad.

“Rai?” he pulled her in a hug. “You tested negative?” he asked. Keshav pulled off her from the hug when he felt warm tears on is shirt. He cupped her face and made her eyes to look at hers.

“Its okay Rai.. if it's negative.... then it's okay but please don't cry... Maybe it isn't the right time...”

“Keshav it's positive?”

“Okay I understand.. wait..What?”

Keshav's mood lit up with excitement.
“ Repeat it..”

“Keshav I'm pregnant! ”
