5. The Promise.

Keshav's POV.

I proceeded to my car. I huffed to ensure myself that I didn't found the same attraction towards her. Yes it was just a normal obsession towards her. Just an highschool obsession. I talked nicely to her. But she kept cursing me. She is a total Badass I must say. With all these thoughts, my gaze shifted on the sleeping figure  inside the car. Seeing her reminded me of someone. I smiled and went inside the car. I seated on the driver seat and ignited the engine.

After a thirty minutes of driving, Keshav startled as he heard some murmuring sounds.

“‘ How was your date with her ”' Rai murmured unconsciously with a sleepy tone.

“ Are you awake?” he asked.

Slowly she yawned behind her palm and opened her eyes. She checked her surroundings and ensured that she was still inside the same car.

“ Keshav I'm hungry.” she complained.
“Just grab me a coffee it will be enough”

Keshav understood what she needs. If she is saying ‘its enough’  it means she needs a strong warm coffee with cookies and fruit cakes.

“You know what thanks God I already packed your favourite meal.”

“Geez! What's about your date with your crush?” she asked sipping the coffee from the sipper.

“ Umm... Maybe the thing I felt of her is over.” he said while focusing on his drive.

After the forty minutes ride, they got off the car as they reached the palace they dozed off in their respective rooms.

“Thud!” a man entered a dark room closing the door behind him. He was all black. His face was covered with a black cap , black glasses and black masks.
The whistling tune and his footsteps echoed the dark room and stopped infront of a photo.

He opened his cap letting his curly bangs to cover his eyes.

“Tch.. Tch.. Tch... Silly girl! You fell in love with the murderer..” he sang the line with a sly smirk on his face.

The sound of the horrified footsteps went up as walking through the upstairs. He smirked at a doorstep and slowly opened the door.

Seeing the girl sleeping peacefully, he smirked. As he came nearer... he drew circles in her cheeks. “Baby girl... you are so innocent.... I'm so sorry... I can't resist though, you are beautiful indeed. Once I complete my intention, I will make you mine baby girl...”

“Silly girl you fell in love with a murderer.” he placed a kiss on her cheeks. He went down out of the palace leaving noone to wit him.

NEXT DAY

“ It's a very good contract sir! If you are willing, then we are dealing it.” Keshav's secretary asked him giving him the contract.

“Well... can  you tell me something about the company.. you know that I can't blindly believe anyone so ummm...”

“Yes sir... this company is a multinational company, headquarters in Jaipur. CEO is umm... he is around 24. He is one of the most young CEOs in the country. His name is Aditya Aggarwal.”

“ I don't... Wait! Can you repeat the name of the CEO?”

“Aditya Aggarwal.”

Keshav saw the photo of the young man. He startled to see the face.
A flashback came into his mind from yesterday night. “Aaditya... His name is Aaditya Aggarwal.” he remembered it was him. Rai's boyfriend.

Sweat slided down his temples. He knew his name. He was surrounded by many murmurs. Fear, rage, anxiety, nervous engulfed him. As a result he fell off.

“He came back... The promise?” Keshav whispered in fear.
His mind reminded him of a night in Uk.
“Promise you ! every one you will love I will snatch it from you..no matter how poor and innocent they might be. Your parents, your friends I will snatch everything from you”
[Smirks].

“Rai!” the only word came from his lips.

He calmed down himself as he gulped down the whole water in one go. 
“ I don't want my past to harm that innocent soul. I promise you Miss Rai Kapoor. I will not let a single scratch on you untill I leave you.”

He grabbed his coat and drived very fastly to somewhere.

SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY.

He rushed towards the campus after parking the car. He showed his id to the security guard and entered the campus of the university. He ran to everywhere to find her. But found her nowhere. He gulped down his lump in nervousness. He then went straight to the cafeteria. He sighed in relief when he saw her sipping her coffee wearing her goggles.
Rai noticed him. “Excuse me guys..” she excused herself from her friends.

She came towards him.
“Let's go to Home early.” he said her. “Prince, I have two more classes..” she refused.

“Are you refusing me?” he asked coldly. “Don't you know I'm the Prince.” he scolded.

Rai obeyed as she sensed his cold mood. She packed her backpack and left the university with him.

She was going to open the door of the passenger seat but stopped.
“Prince? Are you okay?” she asked seeing him so worried.
“Nothing.” he said while wearing his coat.
“ Hmm then why are you acting as if I'm going to di--” her words got interrupted by Keshav as he hugged her tightly.
“Are you fucking Mad ? ” he scolded her.
He then turned back but she stopped him. “What happened to you? Why are you so worried?” she asked between her little sobs.

He turned to her. Seeing her tears, he pressed his lips.
“I'm sorry for shouting on you.” he caressed her silky hairs.

Rai's POV.

“I'm sorry for shouting on you.” he caressed my hair. Silence engulfed the environment. His hands were on my head but eyes on my eyes. That day I saw millions of emotions in  those hazel eyes. The pain which I got, I sensed the pain in those eyes.

“You will get tired if you keep your hands in my head like this.” I finally broke the silence with our *so called eye- contact*.

“ Hmm... Let's go. But you have to um..
Umm .. you have to promise me that you will have to follow  my orders from now.. no matter big or small. You must trust me blindly and obey my orders blindly without any questions.”
He said making me so confused. I mean so suddenly him asking me to start obeying his orders.

“Why?” I finally asked him. But I regretted. He seems so angry and cold. He was looking like those cold yet handsome CEOs mentioned in the novels.  He threw me a glare.
“From now on You will be my responsibility. From now on I'm your guardian.” he said making me shocked.  I could not believe my ears  that what I heard.

“Are you SERIOUS? ”

“Yes. Don't worry... This will not last forever...” he said and I scratched my hairs.

I didn't took his words seriously and I hoped inside the seat.
