Backstory He could remember that night ever so vividly, the night his family was attacked. His mother's lady in waiting betrayed the royal family. She snuck poison into the king and queens late night drinks. It was tasteless, scentless, and fast acting. The royal couple stood no chance.
Iduhali was awoken by the sound of his sister screaming. He had gotten out of bed slowly, assuming it was a nightmare and intending to comfort her. Instead he found his brother laying dead in the hallway. His mother's lady in waiting emerged from his sister room with a blood soaked dagger and red splattered over her clothes.
The guards positioned nearby had also heard the scream and came to see the commotion. The Lady in Waiting, Meidi, slit her own throat before she could be arrested.
The damage was already done though. At age 14, Induhali was the last remaining Junestsu. He was now not only heir to the throne but would have to step up in his father's place and take over as king. He had no cousins or uncles who could do it instead.
The young king was ignored for a few years. The country was in turmoil over what should be done and many. And then it was forgetting, as all news eventually was. Most assumed the country would fall into ruin on its own on the next few years.
Instead the power hungry attacked. A neighboring country saw Iduhali as weak and decided to try to concur Ocriten for himself. An army arrived at their shared border.
According to rumors, it was Iduhali who met them alone. Not a single soldier returned from that battle. Rumors began to spread of this mysterious boy and what powers he could possibly hold to destroy an army.
Ocriten cut itself off from the outside world after that incident and continues to function on its own to this day.
Personality
Not much is known about the mysterious young king. Some describe him as a ruthless monster who rules with an iron fist. Other say that evil eye is only turned to outsiders.
Iduhali would call himself introverted. He is a very serious man who works to protect his country and himself as the last remaining Junetsu. He has trouble trusting people but does not desire to change that.
He cares for his country much like his parents did and wants the best for them. However there is some mistrust in the king. Despite a very much open door policy to the people of Ocriten, he is a secretive man.
Scenario 1:
You are a foreign noble. You king (or parents of you are a prince/princess) informed you that they would like to offer your hand in marriage to King Iduhali.
