Raph x Comforting!Reader

~Normal POV~

You and Raph have been together for a bit now. But he's never told you about his fear of Mrs. Cuddles. He's not as scared of her as he was then, but the trauma is still there.

You and April were in the Lair, hanging in the arcade. Y'all were having a blast until you heard a scream. It echoed throughout the Lair. You were startled, knowing exactly who it came from.

"Raph?" You question yourself. April looked at you in concern. Then, you hear laughing coming from the kitchen. You look at April, and run to the out of the arcade.

"What happened!? What did y'all do!?" You looked at the blue and purple snickering twins. "Nothing, just a little prank!" Leo says, still slightly laughing. "Gets him every time..." Donnie sighs, gaining his composure from his little fit of laughter. "It didn't SOUND like 'just a little prank' boys." You snapped.

"Where's. Raph." You asked in a stern tone. "I-in his room..." Leo stammered, hiding behind his brother. You give them the death stare and walk to the doorway. But before you leave, you turn around, walk back to the twins, and slap them RIGHT in the face. Then you walk out.
"Ow..." Donnie says as he rubs where you slapped him.

You run straight to Raph's room. You arrive, and before you could even knock, you could hear slight sobs and shudders. It hurt you tremendously.

You lightly knock on the doorway frame.
"Raph...?"

You then hear nothing, but silence...

"Raph... It's me..."

Still nothing...

"Raphael Hamato. Talk to me."

You hear a slight small gasp come from the other side. You've never used his full name, unless you were trying to get his attention from far away. And that wasn't very often.

"Y-yeah...?" "Can I come in...?" "I-... *sigh* Yeah..." You walk in, and see him in the corner of his bed, knees to his chest and arms around his legs. "Raph..." You run over to him and get on his bed. You put your hand on his cheek and look into his eyes. You see tear stains on his face. It almost makes you want to cry. "What happened?" "N-nothing..." "Don't lie to me" "Just my brothers being brothers... That's all..." "What did they do?" You put your other hand and your chin on his knees.
"Like I said... They were being brothers..." "*sigh* Raph, please talk to me..." You crawl beside him and lay your head on his arm. You then hold your hand out signaling for him to grab it. He takes one of his hands off of his leg and holds it. You rub it with your thumb, look up at him, and smile.

He takes a deep breath and softly smiles. It's as if your smile could cure all of the hurt and sickness in the world. But he looks back down to his legs and frowns once again.

"It's stupid..."

"No... It's not... Nothing and or no one can be more stupid than Leo." you reassured him, slightly laughing. He lightly chuckles at your words. You always knew how to make him feel better, no matter what he was feeling.

"So... You know the bunny character, Mrs. Cuddles?" "I've heard of her" "Well, my brothers always use her as a way to scare or prank me... I don't know why, but her appearance is just terrifying..."

"I'm gonna kill them... But, for now, I'm gonna stay here with you"

"Hah... Thank you..." He smiles and you smile back. He will always and forever give the sweetest smiles. And no one could convince you otherwise. "You're safe... I'll always protect you no matter what... Even if it means death for me" You mumble as you hug his arm. He looks at you with wide eyes. "Please don't say things like that... It scares me more than Mrs. Cuddles to think about losing you"

You smile softly. "Ok... I won't mention anything like that again..." "Good..."

He turns and brings you into his embrace. You lay your head on his chest and hug him back. "I love you... And if you ever need to talk... I'm always listening. There's no need to be scared to talk to me, ok?" "Ok... Thank you Y/n... I love you too..."
