Y/n POV

As the players started to slow and no one was on I finally could free roam. Sure the whole map was covered in darkness except for the moon light but who cares? I'll take anytime I can get. It's like a break. I ran out of the house and into the street which was always empty unless party's were going on with all the bots.

I ran into the woods across the street and started walking. I don't know why I did it because it was always so dark and scary but it always led to the mountain that over looks the Heralds tree (not true) I slowed my pace as I swear I heard something. I stopped moving to listen. Which was a very bad choice. Just then I heard a terrifying noise as something pounced on me. I tried to push it off of me but it was persistent.

It was trying to get to my neck.

"VAMPIRE! VAMPIRE! HELP!" I screamed in pain as I tried to push the vampire off me. I didn't even know vampires were in the game.

It got closer to my neck as I got weaker. "HELP!" I screamed once last time shaking from trying to push it back until I felt a light poke in my stomach and the vampire stop fighting and fall.

I looked up to see what happened. There was the girl. The same one from the day before. She pulled her hand out to help me up. I took it and she pulled me up. "Are you okay?" She asked looking at the dead vampire then me. "Uh yeah. I mean since you saved me." I said and laughed. I couldn't tell if she was smiling. She had a mask and glasses on. Her hair was short but gorgeous. "Uh...my names Y/n by the way." I said she stared at me. "My names Joni the red but just call me Joni" She said fixing her grip on her sword. "Well nice to meet you Joni. I lov-like your hair." I said smiling. I must have looked so stupid just now. From the looks of it Joni was smiling. She took her mask off. "Why thank you Y/n" she said with a smile. "Well I should get going" I said pointing towards the end of the woods. "Okay be careful." She said holding her sword. I waved and walked towards the end of the woods.

She was so pretty. Her piercings..her hair. Everything.

I sighed dramatically and climbed up the hill and sat at the edge as I watched everyone below.
