"JONI!" Was the last thing I heard.
-Helsies POV-
"What happened to her?!" I yelled as I saw our leader limp on the floor. "I..I don't know." Lucien knelt down beside Joni to check her pulse. "She's still breathing and has a heart beat." Lucien said before standing back up. "She wasn't attacked by a vamp was she?" I asked. "Joni's to stealthy for that. She hasn't gotten bitten or touched by a vamp once." Lucien said taking Joni's sword and putting it in his belt to carry. "I can carry that Lucien." I said. "No it's fine. Worry about your axe and the girl." Lucien said as he picked Joni up off the floor. "Okay.." I walked over to the girl. "Evie? Come with us. We will take you somewhere safe." I said motioning to follow Lucien which she thankfully did.
-Time skip-
We made it home later and Y/n was asleep on the couch. "Y/n?!" Evie said rushing to her and waking her up which she did. "Huh...? Evie?" Y/n said sitting up. She then saw Joni in Lucien's hands. "Oh my god. Is Joni okay?! What happened to her?" There was worry in her voice. "She will be fine. Just stay out here with Evie. Me and Lucien will take care of her" I said as Lucien walked into a spare bedroom. "But.." I put a finger up. "No. Stay out here" I said before going into the room and shutting the door.
"You think she will be okay?" I asked as I watched Lucien feel her temp and check for bites. "I think...I don't know though...I don't know what cause this." He said. "Think...I mean Joni is very smart. She wouldn't..." I gasped. "What? WHAT HELSIE?" Lucien yelled. "Breakfast!" I said. "What?" Lucien gave me a weird face. "Joni didn't eat breakfast! She disappeared once we started arguing." I said. "Ohhh right.." Lucien said just then Joni woke up. "My head..." she rubbed it her hair a mess. She then snapped back to reality, "what happened. Where are we" Joni turned serious. "Chillax Joni. We are home. You passed out." I said sitting next to Joni on the bed. "Right.." she said sadly. "I don't know what happened I..." Lucien cut her off. "Breakfast" Joni looked confused then went "Ohhh" when she understood.
Then. When all was well we heard a scream come out from the living room.
"WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO YOU??"
