I woke up feeling my head sore and my vision blurry. "You should take her place Lucien. She clearly can't be the leader anymore and your our best bet." I heard a voice say. "I don't know hels. It just feels wrong." Another voice said. My head hurt to much to think. "Guys. I'm sure she's fine. She needs some time to rest." I heard a soft voice say. The voice from before yelled back "we don't have time Y/n!" Of course I heard names but it didn't click to faces. I closed my eyes to rest some more.
-Time skip-
I opened my eyes feeling better. "Joni! Your up." Helsie said. She was sitting beside me and who knew where Lucien and Y/n were. "Where's Y/n?" I asked. Helsie looked at me. "Does it matter?" She said. "Yes it does Helsie." I replied and she sighed. "Lucien took her out to...teach her..how to hunt." She said. My eyes widened "what why?!" I yelled. "You can't hunt anymore Joni. Your to...weak.." Helsie said. I was getting angry. "I am not! I-" just then Lucien and Y/n walked in threw the door. Y/n looked exhausted. "Oh Joni your up."Lucien said. "Yeah. And what is going on?" I asked. "You can't be a hunter anymore Joni. Your to weak. You need a break" Helsie said. "Yeah." Lucien chimes in. "Your kidding" I said. I had to be the leader. I was the only one that could hold the scarlet oath. Without me the high stakes club is Nothing.
