-Y/n POV-
Joni made lots of plans with me today. She made sure I was booked up so we could hang out all day. She's so sweet. I thought she was the rough type but if you meet her outside of her hunting she's a sweetheart. Joni says that vampires don't come out on new years because the bright lights and noises. I've never seen her so chipper and it's so cute.
"Happy new year Y/n!" Joni said. Helsie was sitting in a chair next to her. Joni was wearing a gold tie with a blue jacket. She also wasn't wearing tights. "Happy new year Joni" I said with a soft smile. She came up and hugged me. "I love you so much" she said planting a kiss on my cheek which obviously made me blush. "Get a room you two" Helsie said with a snicker. She was drinking boba obviously from her work. She has a whole collection in the fridge of boba. Joni drinks them to. In fact everyone in the club drinks them.
-time skip-
It was night time and time for the countdown. Joni took you outside and set out a blanket. "What are we doing" I asked. She sat down on the blanket and patted next to her. "You'll see. Come sit" Joni said. I took a seat next to her and she placed her hand around my waist and pulled me closer to her. We sat there for a good minute and chatted about our new year resolution.
BOOM
I jumped and Joni snickered. We both looked up to see fireworks. "It's officially midnight Y/n" Joni said calmly. I looked at her then back at the fireworks. "This all feels like a dream." I said. The fireworks lighting up the sky making it a rainbow of colors. "Then kiss me before you wake up" Joni said I turned to her. She was looking at the fireworks now to. She looked at me then we kissed. Her soft lips on mine was a paradise. I could feel her piercings on my chin. They were cold. I didn't wanna let go of Joni. This was to perfect.
*cough cough*
Me and Joni broke apart. "The fireworks have been done for a fat minute you guys." It was Helsie. "You guys really love each other" Helsie said with a slight smile. Me and Joni laughed it off. "Yeah." Joni said. "We'll come inside. It's getting cold" Helsie said. She turned and went inside. "You heard her" Joni said. We both got up and went inside.
