-Joni's POV-

I woke up to the smell of food. I was confused. I wasn't in my room. Then I remembered that I was at Y/ns house. I sat up rubbing my head. My hair was in my face. Just then Y/n entered the room. "Oh your up!" She said jumping back a bit. She had a plate and a drink in her hand. "Yeah" I said tiredly. "I made you some food!" She said walking over to the side of the bed setting the food down on a bed side table. "What is it?" I asked looking at it. "Oh uh it's (favorite food)" she said nervously. I smiled and took the plate and started eating.

This food was delicious. It had such flavor and I melted it was so good. "This is so good" I said Y/n smiled. "Yay! That's good. I didn't know what to make so I made that...I'm no cook either" Y/n said. I kept eating it was so (adjective) "I'll let eat." Y/n said as she turned for the door and left.

I nearly vomited when it touch my mouth. It had a weird taste. Obviously I couldn't tell Y/n that. It would hurt her feelings. Besides..she just cooked this whole meal it would be rude. "You don't like it do you?" Y/n said in a tone I couldn't figure out. Was she mad? Upset? "No it's good!" I said trying to reassure her. She frowned. "If you say so. I'll be downstairs." She said as she left shutting the door behind her.

BACK TO THE STORY

After I finished eating I took my plate and walked downstairs to be welcomed with Y/n sitting on the couch watching the TV. I walked past into the kitchen. "Uh where do I put this?" I yelled out to her. "The sink duh" she said playfully. I snickered and set it in the sink and walked back out sitting next to her. She was intensely watching the TV. She was watching (whatever you want) I put my arm around her and tried to watch to but I was tired again. She looked over at me. "Are you bored?" She asked. I looked at her in shock from such a sudden question. "No not really" I said. She looked at me then the TV then grabbed the remote turning it off. "Why don't we play a game or something?" She said turning her body towards me. I sat up more taking my arm back from around her.

God her eyes were gorgeous. "Eh sure? But like what do we do..." I said confused. "We could go on like a little date" she said looking to the side how avoiding eye contact. I put my hand on her chin lightly and moved her head to face me so we locked eyes. "I'd love to. But where?" I said. She was blushing. She shook her head. "Uh we could go to the burger place? Tomorrow?" Y/n said. "That sounds good. I'll pick you up around night time." (No time in fortnite) I said she smiled more. "Okay!" She said. "Well I should get going. I shouldn't just crash here" I snickered which made Y/n laugh. "If you wanted to I wouldn't mind" Y/n said. "Oh no it's fine. I don't wanna be a burden." I said standing up. Y/n followed. "Aww okay" we went to the front door and I stepped out. "See you tomorrow" I said waving she waved back and shut the door.
