I woke up to a soft tap on my window. Rain. It was peaceful. I almost felt energized. The rain was so peaceful. I looked around the room. It was very dark. It was hard to notice everything. I felt something was holding my hand. I slowly peered over the bed to see Joni dead asleep on the floor. She looked so peaceful. She was holding my hand. I moved back slowly but still was reminded about the vampires by the tiny stings threw out my body. I laid there in the dark as the rain tapped on the window. I then heard a soft chattering downstairs. It sounded like Helsie and Lucien...what time was it..?

-in the morning-

I woke up alone. My body felt sore. "LUCIEN THATS MINE" I heard downstairs. Helsie. "WHY CANT WE SHARE HELS??" Lucien yelled back. I snickered. Then the door opened. It was Joni. She walked over to me. "How you feeling?" She asked as she shut the door. "Better." I said. She sat down on the bed next to me. "Good. I'm glad." Joni said looking over at me. I was covered in bandages. "Soo what are Helsie and Lucien fighting about?" I asked. "Cups." Joni said sighing. "Helsies like a child when it comes to sharing. It's kind of funny." Joni said. I snickered. "I mean I'm sort of the same." I said and Joni laughed. "I honestly wouldn't expect that from you." Joni said. I snickered that Lucien barged into the room. "Oh hey Y/n." He then switched views to Joni. "Helsie just got a text from Evie she says there's a vampire infestation we're she lives." Lucien said. My heart dropped. I started to sweat. "Oh. Where? We can head there now." Joni said standing up. "Helsie has the directions. Evie says her friend was bit and became one causing it all." I felt a panic attack coming along. "Any other details?" Joni asked grabbing her sword which she was on the table next to her. "Nope. She just went silent." Lucien said. I was starting to have trouble breathing. Anxiety. "Go get your things and we will go." Joni said as Lucien left the room she followed but stopped noticing me. "You okay Y/n..?" She asked turning towards me. "You look pale." Joni said stepping closer. "Just...anxiety.." is all I could get out. "Why..?" Joni asked once more. "Evie..she's my friend.." I looked up at Joni feeling like I'd vomit. "I'll make sure she's okay Y/n. I promise. I'll bring her back here for you." Joni said before she left. I closed my eyes focusing on my breathing. I was alone now. Filled with anxiety. So many questions..Would Evie be okay? What if Joni got hurt.

What if they all just..died?
