Macaque's POV:
As the storm continues to rage on behind me, I began to walk a little bit away from my jet flyer to find out where the kid and his team could be now. I then took a compass from my pocket, saying that it will be able to find them. It was given to me by a...certain someone, as the memories begin to replay in my head.
*Flashback*
I was thrown across a portal by the guy who is definitely not the mayor. I glared back at him as he just smiled as his eyes glowed blue, I knew something was off about him when he came to my shadow play. I then began to charge at him, but the portal disappeared and I nearly fell off of some mech, as I looked and saw the city now in ruins. I then heard a ding sound, as well as ghostly whispers, as I looked behind me and saw the staff now sealed in ice.
Macaque: "The staff. The city." I said to myself. "You've been busy." I said as I looked at the person, the demon I never wanted to see again, behind me, as I smirked with a nervous sweat going down my face.
No one's POV:
Back with the group, Pigsy and Tang are packing things up so the group can get back on the road, while the other's went out to train. Pigsy is having a difficult time folding a chair while Tang is putting some books up while checking on Monkey King who is still meditating.
Tang: "Oh, Monkey King. He's glowing." He said as he pressed his glasses back. "That's gotta be a good sign, right?" He questioned.
Pigsy: "That's all he does! Glows and sits around all day, cause he's gotta get his strength back! And apparently he can't spare five minutes to help pack up camp!" He argued as he was struggling to fold a chair, but ended up getting stuck on it as he squealed. He then proceeded to try and get up.
Tang: "Sh sh sh, Pigsy. You know never to wake up someone from a transcendental meditation." He scolded.
Pigsy: "Tang, go get the others! Let's get going!" He asked while shouting as Tang shielded himself, resulting him dropping the books as one landed on Pigsy's head.
*Meanwhile with MK, Mei, her parents, and Sandy*
Both MK and Mei and now sparring on open fields while Mei's parents and Sandy watch them while keeping score. Right now they are both tied 3 to 3. One more round and they'll call it a day. MK was holding back though, not wanting to go full force since he knows how powerful his new power is, and so that he doesn't hurt her. But he's still giving Mei a decent match, both from the last matches to now.
Mei: "You sure you don't have a favorite weapon?" She questioned as both she and MK continued to clash at each other. Apparently while sparring, Mei asked MK a question about which weapon MK likes the most. Monkey King's staff, or the Obsidian Moon's Cut and The Moon Dragon Katana. And apparently, MK couldn't decide which is better.
Mei stood in one place as she had to block an attack from above with her sword as MK did a thrust attack while the Obsidian Moon's Cut is still in it's scythe mode, while MK stands on the blade with one foot.
Mei: "Cause you are pretty good with the scythe, I'm not gonna lie." She complimented while smirking as sweat went down to the side of her face.
MK: "Although I do like using the staff, I do like using the scythe, glaive, and katana since I have a lot of experience with them." He stated as Mei understood as she nodded.
