The first ring (and sending a warning)

No one's POV:

The group continues to drive through the desert, yet again, while continuing to find the Demon Bull Family's palace, even though Monkey King doesn't know. Since then, MK has been sitting in the front seat while guiding Sandy on where to go, while using the fire ring compass to guide him, and keeping it hidden from Monkey King. But the problem is, now that they are in the desert again, the temperature is now too hot since the last time, everyone is sweating bullet, except for Monkey King, who went back to meditating (sleeping) yet again!

Mei: "Dumb Macaque. Dumb desert." She said as she panted out in exhaustion due to the heat, as she has her jacket hanging on her shoulders.

Taitai: "And to think for once, we were finally done with deserts." She says to her husband in exhaustion, as Xiansheng nodded in agreement.

Tang: "I'd rather take cold weather, then having to deal with desert heat again." He said while panting.

Sandy: "Don't worry, gang." He reassured while panting. "We just have to keep moving. Forever and ever until we-" He was cut off when all of a sudden, a very sharp flat rock cut the front right tire open, causing the van to swerve, causing everyone's eyes to shot open upon what's happening, (except for Monkey King). Sandy, now fully on alert, steadied the van while slamming his foot on the brakes, managing to stop the van before anything bad can happen.

Once the van had stopped, MK put the fire ring compass in his bag, and went out to check on the damage, as he saw the front right tire is now flattened with a giant cut on it, as well as noticing that the van is stuck in some sand. He then sighed as he went back to his seat and closed the door.

MK: "The front right tire is flattened, and we're stuck in some sand." He said while panting, as he informed the others of the casualties.

Pigsy: "Oh, that's just great." He said sarcastically at the situation that he and the group are now in, and while panting, as everyone else is too exhausted to do anything, as everyone began to pass out due to the heat.

A few minutes later, vultures had been circling from above the van outside. Moments later, someone had opened the back door from outside, and stepped inside of the van.

MK briefly opened his eyes, and looked at the rear view mirror to see an all too familiar son of the Demon Bull King.

Red Son: "Ugh." He said. "Noodle boy." He referred MK in a slightly irritating tone, while half of his face is covered in a shadow and his glasses flashed, as MK passed out again.

*Sometime later*

Red Son had brought in the group to his home, as well as allowed them to eat and drink water. But, unlike how MK remembered, since Pigsy and Tang weren't with him, Mei, and Sandy last time, and with Mei's parents joining the team this time, since it's a small change, everyone is eating slowly instead of eating fast, except for Tang who is actually the only one eating fast like how MK, Mei, and Sandy had last time, and except for Monkey King who was brought to the guest room to continue meditating, and Mo who is eating cat food in the same guest room with Monkey King.

While the group is eating, Red Son sat on the opposite side of the table, while having his arms crossed, and has an annoyed look on his face.

MK: "Ah, that's the good stuff." He said as he finished drinking some water.

Red Son: "You're welcome, by the way." He said sarcastically.

Xiansheng: "Thank you for your hospitality, Red Son." He thanked as his wife nodded in a thankful way.

Mei: "Thanks, Red Boy. You're the man." She also thanked. But unlike how MK remembered, Mei didn't talk with her mouth full, and didn't toss food at Red Son this time.
