"WE'RE GETTING INVADED!" I yelled out of nowhere, attracting my classmates and teacher's attention.
"What?"
"TERRORISTS WILL COME HERE SOON!" I shouted once again. "VIOLENT SCHOOL SHOOTING IS GONNA HAPPEN! I SAW THE FUTURE, I SWEAR!"
"Don't be stupid, Mr. Gribbleston. No human being can see the future," said my teacher.
I tried warning everyone that I indeed saw the future which shows that we would get attacked and that I'm telling the truth but nobody would believe me. It saddens me by the fact that some of my abilities are so fantastical that I don't even think I'm actually a human at all and that I would forever be an outcast.
At lunch, I was too paranoid that I couldn't even eat my lunch. My bullies kept poking fun at me, calling me a freak, fortune teller wannabe, and other mean names. I got so overwhelmed that I ran into the bathroom to cry my tears of anger and sadness out and slammed the door shut, accidentally breaking it due to the fact that I forgot I have super strength.
The bell have rang, which means I have to go inside the classroom now. I still couldn't calm down as the terrifying future event is bothering the hell outta me. And so, in the middle of the lecture, we heard gunshots and screams. My teacher and the whole class looked out of the windows. Oh shit it's happening!
We immediately hid under the desks as we saw one of the windows of our classroom shatter and a bullet flew in, which thankfully didn't hit anyone. I ran in fear and hid behind a fallen bookshelf as I witnessed my classmates getting either injured, killed, kidnapped by the attackers, or simply survived by hiding like I did. Our teacher, on the other hand, managed to escape.
I stayed in my hiding place despite the terrorists leaving our classroom at last after getting too impatient over looking for the hidden surviving students to kill. My chest felt hard drumming. I couldn't breathe due to how exhausted my lungs seem to be.
"Have they left yet?" asked my classmate, which I didn't notice was next to me behind the shelf.
"I think they already did."
I looked at her. Suddenly, she screamed as she saw my face. She ran away, leaving her phone behind. I looked at my reflection on her phone and I got shocked to see my eyes glowing purple again.
The police have finally arrived and drove the invaders out of our school. While I watch the injured students get examined by the doctors, someone tapped my shoulder. I turned and saw my teacher from my first class period and the principal beside him.
"You said earlier that the terrorists would come and attack our school, right?"
I nodded. "Yes, sir. Do you now beli...?"
"I have a suspicion that you invited them to invade so that I'd believe the hoax that you can see the future," he said.
"NO SIR!" I defended in disbelief. "I'M JUST A SCARED LITTLE KID! I COULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING!"
"And yet you weren't ashamed to interrupt the lesson," said my teacher.
"I WAS JUST TRYING TO WARN YOU ALL BECAUSE IT'S TRUE THAT I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"Oh really? If you can see the future, go and tell me if you're gonna graduate this year or not..."
"Mr. Field, he's not a normal kid," interrupted the principal.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Mr. Field.
"Look at his eyes."
I hid my face in shame. I don't like it when people look at my weird body features!
