down the tunnels

For while, I've realized, this is the opportunity to finally escape and get back to Robin and Harry. I ran away from my real dad and that notepad lady but there's the bad news. I'm sadly lost in this damn forest. And to make it worse, it's not part of my abilities to detect where I am right now. The only things I can just depend on is the landmarks I remember while looking for my dad.

My head still felt painful yet I couldn't have a vision for some reason. I keep assuming that I was supposed to see the future again but there's just someone out there blocking my physic ability to prevent me from seeing what dangers I'll encounter. Despite the dreadful headache I'm feeling, I still fought to dig into whatever could help me find my way out of this forest deep inside me.

A gust of wind blew past me, seemingly leading me somewhere, the place that'll answer my questions. I looked around and followed the few leaves that were flying around. Unfortunately, I lost sight of them. But as I turned to the left, I saw a tree stump, the same exact tree I accidentally chopped into half earlier. My first landmark!

I went nearer the stump and looked at it for some clues but all I see are just the same boring circles from earlier. But then I noticed something suspicious next to this tree stump. A finely shaped boulder marked with some red paint resting by a gigantic tree. Thanks to the superhuman strength I possess, I was able to lift the boulder. I screamed and accidentally dropped the boulder by the stump when I saw a hella lot of huge strange bugs of variety flew and crawled out of where the boulder used to be. Beneath it reveals a hole.

Please no more scary nasty insects please I begged to fate as I went nearer the hole.

Holes have their thing of being dark as fuck when not lit enough. I activated my night vision using only my mind and entered the hole. The only things I see were boring old rocks, vines of what I suppose are roots of a tree, and some little crawly things, probably worms or whatever. I decided to grab a random rock so I can squish whatever bugs would try to sting me or suck my blood.

I'm starting to run out of breath. This tunnel is so small the only thing I can do is crawl and squeeze my way through. My chest and elbows are starting to complain about the rocks and roots surrounding the floor of the tunnel but curiosity is what kept me going. All of a sudden, a huge ass centipede appears ahead me, hissing.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA GET OUTTA MY WAY!" I yelled as I repeatedly smacked the centipede's face with the rock.

Green stinky blood splashed into my face, which made me cringe so bad. I covered my nose with my unfortunately centipede-blood-filled hand and used my other hand to set the dead colossal insect aside so I could continue on my journey of looking out for more clues. After a minute, I encountered a bunch of vines bundled and tangled with each other. Curious of what could be beyond it, I sliced the vines using only my bare hands.

Finally, I found myself in a bigger, much stable tunnel which is, this time, lit with torches. I stood up and started walking. That was when I realized how tired my knees are from crawling through the small tunnel. Red marks with bits of dirt and green gore were visible on my bright yellow skin. My shirt and overalls were also stained.

This tunnel was shorter than I expected. At the end of it was something what looked like an altar. Before I could get near it, I stumbled as the floor beneath me fell and transformed into an unstable slope. This slope soon turned into some kind of another hole filled with natural rocks, vines, and more crawlies which make me wanna gag.

I closed my eyes, hoping I either end up in wonderland like Alice or simply wake up back at home with either of my dads bringing me breakfast at my bed due to me being sick. The 2nd option never happened as I felt my body hit the hard ground. I opened my eyes and realized the 1st option didn't happen either as I only found myself in some kind of round-walled chamber, no doors at any sight.

Suddenly, all torches lit up, still sadly no doors can be seen. The patterns of the tiles of the floor beneath me glowed bright blue. From behind the pillars, I saw shadow of what looked like a furry ninja run everywhere.

"SHOW YOURSELF!" I shouted while forming 3 fireballs in the air. "I MAY LOOK LIKE A POOR LITTLE BOY BUT I'M NOT SCARED TO GO IN A BATTLE BETWEEN YOU AND ME!"

I desperately shooted the fireballs to where I see the shadow running to. Suddenly, the floor opened, revealing tentacles. I screamed in fear and leaped over a huge rock that was poking it's way out in a wall. One of the tentacles grabbed my right ankle and pulled. I grasped on another rock, holding on for my dear life. I pair of dark green shoes and pants walked by, about to step over my hands.

"Let me deal with this little intruder, Morger," I hear a low but loud male voice speak.

Soon, another tentacle grabbed on my face and blocked my eyes and mouth. I couldn't see anything but I could tell more tentacles are dominating me. A huge surge of power flowed over me, telling me that it's better that I fight back. I wringed one of my arms free and used it to destroy the tentacle that was covering my eyes. Combining my imagination and some movements I accidentally made, I've summoned a few purple flares up high the air.

These flares soon flew down to the tentacles and blasted. I took the opportunity to escape and seek refuge over some another stable floor as the tentacles got paralyzed. In the middle of the tentacles came out a reddish orange lightbeam. Whatever that creature is probably got really furious! Soon, the tentacles were able to freely move again. I defended myself with a shield I summoned as one of the tentacles went towards me.

"Trespassing my lair is a big big mistake, young man!" warned the same voice that commanded Morger. "You should think twice!"

"Too bad you're dealing with the wrong kid!" I teased.

My joke was probably terrible since I got hit by some kind of flare. I fell over the floor. I looked around and saw a man whose face was covered with the cloak he's wearing, holding a staff. Before he could hit me with blue lightbeam coming from his staff, I managed to block it with green lightbeam coming from my hand.

"LEARN TO SURVEY WHO YOU'RE CONFRONTING! MOST OF YOUR ENEMIES ARE NOT OF YOUR WHOLE KNOWLEDGE!"

"I PREFER THAT YOU JUST BRING ME OUT OF HERE INSTEAD OF ENDING MY LIFE JUST BECAUSE I BROKE IN YOUR HOUSE OR WHATEVER THIS PLACE IS!"

I consumed out all my energy and forcefully tried to overpower this man. Fortunately, I managed to knock him off. But then, I felt really dizzy. I've used up all my mana! I grabbed a random lever for support. The floor in the middle of the chamber closed and the tentacles disappeared. Scared of whatever the people here would do to me if I get unconscious, I attempted to find my way out.

The ticking sounds came back. I felt really hopeless. A hand grabbed my shoulder. Despite feeling nauseous, I shrugged the hand off and tried to run away. But my head is spinning so badly I couldn't keep myself stable anymore. I tripped and fell on the floor, finally losing all my senses.
