Crawling on the floor, clutching for my dear life, I noticed something glow bright. I couldn't tell what it was but I went to it in the hopes of being saved from such death. Soon, I felt as if someone gently grabs me. I found myself in another chamber hovering over the clouds and stars. 4 pillars surround me and the floor below me is of a fine circular tile patterns.
Where am I? I wondered.
"The king of time trapped you in a timelapse," said a booming loud voice which echoed through the chamber. "Luckily, I was there or else the time would've glitched and you'd fade away from existence."
"Uhh who are you?" I asked.
"I refuse to tell my name but I'm the high seer of the realm of race. You can't see me but I'm sure you've seen what I look like back there," replied the voice.
I'm sure he's wrong because I've seen a man behind me who looks exactly like the statue from the Room of Realms and Prophecy. He reacts silently, seems to signal that I've once again accidentally used telepathy on someone, this time him.
"You are indeed the chosen one. I'm aware you have the ability to free the dark lord's slaves but you need to be really careful for some of them are way too challenging to confront, especially if you don't have enough skills. Also, you might be more vulnerable to getting captured by the dark lord, especially that you have fallen in his trap."
"Can you train me please?"
The powerful wizard walks nearer to me and pats me on my shoulder. "Your best teacher shall be experience and I'm certain you'll learn lots of things on your way."
He opens the palm of my right hand and touches it. I'm not sure why but all of a sudden, my surroundings started to glitch. At first, I panicked as I didn't know where this would lead to. But eventually I calmed down as clouds embraced me. I closed my eyes and soon after opening them, I found myself back in the realm of race beside the entrance of the tunnel leading to the Room of Realms and Prophecy. Harry and Robin were next to me.
"Oh finally you're awake," said Harry.
"Your daddy is such a smart boy!" reported Robin. "He spawned a clone and ordered it to distract Tony. And then, the statue glowed and I saw that damn clock fall into a portal."
"I'm sure when the right time comes, you'd be able to free the king of time," added Harry.
While processing what the fuck just happened, I noticed something in my right hand. I looked and saw an ancient-looking marble. The design of the marble was not ordinary at all. It consists of a fascinating symbol. I then randomly remembered the secret room at the house I unlocked using the green key.
"Dads, we gotta go back to the house," I announced.
"Absolutely not, that place is a living nightmare," said Robin.
"But I wanna look for more clues there," I replied. "Perhaps, Paige knows something."
"Doi's got a point, hunny," added Harry.
The green duck sighed. "Ok fine-"
We walked all the way back to the house. I searched for Paige everywhere but she's nowhere to be found. Eventually I gave up and instead headed to the room. The door was on the floor, still being feasted by the wood-eating mites except they now eat slower than earlier. I couldn't get past that damn doorway because insects gross the hell outta me!
"Calm yourself down, Manny," said Robin. "You're a lot bigger than them. Plus, you can conjure magic so I'm pretty sure you'll be fine."
I slowly raised my hand and formed a fireball. The fireball flies straight to the door, in which burns in the process. Some of the mites got burned while the others scattered everywhere.
"EW EW EW EW!" I screamed in disgust as I shooted a hella lot of blue flares everywhere in an attempt to kill all the mites.
Unfortunately, I accidentally hit Robin as well. That made me feel terrible.
"CAREFUL MANNY!" shouted Harry as he drags Robin into another room.
The doorway is now blocked by flames and the air is covered in flying blue dust mixed with the powdered remains of the mites. Everything around me smell like burning rotten eggs. This is all my fault...I shouldn't have overreacted. I dropped myself on the floor and sobbed. As I gripped on the floor in grief, I felt something tingly crawl through my arms towards my hands. All of a sudden, I felt something cold on my palms, which eventually crawled below my chest. I stood up and was shocked to have formed ice on the floor.
"Woah!"
The frost crawled through the entire hallway, which killed the fire by the doorway. The ice cold mist caused my tears to turn into little icy crystals and the blue dust and the grounded mites to vanish into nothing. I reached out my hand, and like as if by my command, all the frost turned into snowflakes and flew back into my palm. I giggled in fascination and at the tingling feeling of the snowflakes going through my veins.
I picked up the marble from the floor and walked towards the room. The marble glowed as I approached the table platform. One of the small empty round slots below the table glowed as well. Perhaps this is where I should insert the marble. I did what my instincts told me and soon, the hidden patterns of the platform glowed. Small symbols floated out of the table and formed a white glowing sphere. It then exploded.
"On a blessful night of the 18th of the first month of summer, a magical baby boy will be born. He is the one destined to end the dark lord after 3 centuries..."
Before the loud echoey voice could continue speaking, the glow disappeared and everything went back to normal. However, the marble stayed on the platform. Its true color can now be seen, which is green. On the floor, I caught a glimpse of what looks like a broken piece of tile puzzle. Words were engraved on it, the same words I heard from earlier. Excited about the discovery, I dashed to where Robin and Harry are.
"Hey papa! I'm sorry for accidentally hitting you, I kinda overreacting over those annoying little insects, but I found something!"
"It's alright, sweetie," Robin said with a smile. "At least I was still alive enough for your amazing daddy to heal me."
"What's it you found anyway?" asked Harry.
"I found the prophecy about me!" I reported happily. "But I think I have to form a puzzle to completely read it."
I ran towards my adoptive dads and hugged both of them tight. But as I let go, the same tormenting pain I experience while having visions returned. All I see was a dark messy room, which looks like an abandoned workshop. I heard screams of agony, one of which sounded like me. Sight of Robin's beaks being bind by a tape and me tied up in a chair while both blood and tears race on my face. I fell on Harry's chest and panted heavily after that horrifying vision.
"What's the matter? Did you have a vision?" asked Harry.
"Yeah...yeah..." I muttered. "It's...I t-think we... we're being...h-hostages..."
Robin looks at him with concern. "You know what? We're heading to my hatchplace in the realm of critters. I heard you-know-who is starting to gain half of that realm and I ain't letting my home end up in the same dreadful situation as the realm of spies."
To be continued...
A/n: don't worry, you guys! This isn't the end of the story. I'll be writing a sequel of this fic soon ^^
