Walking through crowds was a pain. It was like the city's slow walkers all grouped to torture her together. Jisoo didn't feel the need to squeeze through people right now so she just continued to drag herself slowly.
Without care, Jisoo had disposed of the needle in one of the trash cans at the side. It would eventually get filled with the public's garage and be cleaned out. They wouldn't even be able to trace her this far anyway.
The raven continued her soulless walk as she thought of what to do now. Her future was undecided but she was no longer in a loop of killing and resting. What and how could she live now?
The movement of walking was putting pressure on her patch of wound. Unknowingly, Jisoo was soon to bleed through her shirt. She hadn't gotten rest since the day she slept in Jennie's closet.
It's only been two days and she knows she could last a full week if it wasn't for this injury tiring her. Bruises still remained on her body but they were slowly healing. Her steps sped up as the crowd began to cease.
Jisoo was slightly stretching when she was ambushed from the back. The only thing stopping her from throwing the person over her shoulder was the crowd of people and the familiarity of the action.
"Jisoonie!!" A familiar voice screeched in excitement.
"Pokpak." Jisoo relayed back with lack of enthusiasm.
"Unnie! At least pretend to be excited." Lisa whined. Such harmless mannerisms and behaviour for a trained assassin. "They told me you were dead! Of course I didn't trust them!"
"Speak a bit louder and everyone would know I was supposed to die, including the agency." Jisoo warned, walking further with the younger trailing behind. "Can't believe they let me go like this."
"Where are we going?" Lisa asked, unfazed by Jisoo's stern warning.
"I'm not sure." Jisoo didn't want to return for some reason. "I have no place except the agency, you know that."
"No issue!" She grabbed the raven's hand tightly. "I have one!"
"What?" Without answering, Lisa continued to drag her with an overly large smile.
----------
"When?" Jisoo walked in, finally slowly letting her defense lower in Lisa's presence.
"It's been about two years." The younger girl casually shrugged.
"Why?"
"I got used to resting here while waiting for missions. Not too shabby, huh?" Lisa passed Jisoo, who was busy scanning the place, to swing the fridge door open. "The agency feels suffocating."
"It does." Jisoo sighed and dropped her body onto the couch. "They don't see us as equal, huh? Even after all these years..."
"They got some free orphans they could train as death machines. No one is going to come looking for us in the end. Why would they care?"
"Do they still think we don't know?"
Lisa nodded, passing her a pack of milk. "They had suspicions that you do. It's why they were so passive about your death." Jisoo scoffed sarcastically. "You better thank me by the way."
"Thanks for the milk, I guess." The raven pushed her straw in.
"Not that, unnie!" Lisa rolled her eyes. "I deleted all the CCTV footage."
"The ones Haein told me about..."
"Ha! I knew you beat his ass! After I stopped the footage, I was going to follow you but he was keeping watch on me. When I found out his assignment location-"
