Recess time
Aisyah's POV
As always I'll spend my recess time alone as Airis with her friends having recess together. I sit at the square, I brought my novel along so I could read it during recess time.
"Hey." The voice sounds familiar.
"Can i sit next to you?" he asked. I look up to see a tall figure looking direct to my eyes. Yes, Liew Wymen the coins guy.
I replied with a smile along with a nodded.
"Where's your friend?" He asked.
"Who?" I asked.
"The one at the class." He said.
"Oh."
"Probably with her other friends." I said faking a smile on my face.
" oh."
" well.."
I turn my head to my side where he's sitting and raised one of my eyebrow.
" what?" I asked.
"Wanna like .. be friend?" He said.
"Oh damn he's asking me to be his friend."
" sure why not." I said.
He smiled.
What is this feeling..
" wymen ." A familiar voice come in front of us. I look up to see Xinzhan. I hurriedly return my head to the old position.
"They know each other ?"
"Oh Xinzhan."
"Aisyah, this is my cousin. Xinzhan."
I look up awkwardly smile to Xinzhan.
"They're cousin..."
"Do you know each other?" Wymen asked.
"Ye-" xinzhan about to answered.
"No!" But i cut him off right away.
"Oh, okay then."Wymen smiled.
*kringg kringg
"wǒmen xiǎng qù shàngkè" ( we're going to class) said wymen to xinzhan. I couldn't understand so i just stand up and wait for wymen.
"oo,oo zàijiàn." ( byebye ) said Xinzhan as he walked away waving his hand to the both of us.
I look down not trying to make eye contact.
"Did he make you uncomfortable ?" Wymen asked as we're walking to our class.
"N- no." I stuttered as I awkwardly smile.
"Don't smile if you don't want to." He said.
I look at his eyes. He's perfect.
" Aisyah !" I look back as I heard a voice.
The figure come closer to me and wrap her arm around my shoulder.
"Wah wah, the both of you ..."
" ada apa-apa kah ?" Airis joke teasingly.
"Shh rahsia mah.Mana boleh kasi tahu." Wymen jokes back.
"Woi."
"No lah. friend only." Aisyah said as she gave a death stare to Wymen.
"Auch." Wymen said.
"What ?" Aisyah asked.
"What ?" Wymen repeat.
" dah dah."
"Jom masuk kelas." Airis said smiling to the both of them.
