#6 [ a new feeling growing inside of me ]

[ 1st August 2022, Monday]
In class.

Aisyah sit on her seat and started to do some revision by herself since the exam is around the corner.

"Pss,pss."
"Pss,pss."

Aisyah decided to ignore at first but the voice keep distracting her from focusing.

"What ?" Aisyah said as she turn around facing Wymen's desk.

"I got you this." He said as he reach out a kinder bueno.

"For me?" Aisyah asked.

"For your mom."
"Just kidding, of course its for you." He said laughing.

"Haha funny." She said faking her laugh.

"Want it or not?" Wymen asked.

"My mom said if someone gives us something, we should accept it." She said taking the kinder bueno from his grip.

"Thank you, mr duck." She said plastered a very wide smile.

"Duck?" He asked.

"Yea.. you said we can call you anything right? Or is it an exception for me?" She asked.

"No its okay. I like it. So fancy. So are you the mrs duck ?" He said teasingly.

"Eww flirty." She replied.

"Teacher is coming." Airis cut them.

Aisyah turn around to face the front.

Recess time

As always Airis will go to her friends. But now it's kind of different. Aisyah is no longer alone when it comes to recess time since she has Wymen now.

They sit at the square. Their spot.

"I got a question." Aisyah said.

"Go ahead." He replied.

"Weren't you boring?" Aisyah asked.

"Of what?" He replied.

"Spending your recess time with me?" Aisyah continued.

"Kind of."

"Oh." Aisyah respond.

"Just kidding. Why would I feel bored?" He said scoffing seeing disappointment in Aisyah's reaction.

"No but I feel bad for you. You could just go and spend your time with maybe your friend?" Aisyah said looking down.

"Hey, have you ever seen me with any friends before?" He asked.

"No."

"Wanna know why?"

"Why?"

"Cuz I only have you." He said smiling.

"Why is my heart beating so fast. It might explode any time soon." Thought Aisyah.

" AISYAH ! AISYAH !" Its Airis who's running to Aisyah and Wymen while shouting Aisyah's name.

"Hey chill out. What is it." Airis sit down next to Aisyah. She was catching for breath.

"Xinzhan.." she said and then breathing hardly.

"She asked me out." Airis said as she shake Aisyah's hand to show her excitement.

"Oh."
"That's great." Aisyah replied with and awkward smile.

"But i got a problem." Airis said.

"What?" Aisyah asked.

"You know how my parents are."
"Can you accompany me ?" Airis asked.

"Me ?"

"Yes." Airis respond.

"Where's your friend?" Aisyah asked.

"But I want you to accompany me.. pleasee." She begged.

"Fine." Aisyah said.

"Can I follow ?" Wymen cut off.

"You wanna follow too ?" Airis asked.

"We can do double dates." Wymen suggested.

"Sounds great."
"Then sure.
"This Saturday at Pavilion. We'll take the Mrt together at ****** station by 10 a.m." Airis explained.

"Okay." The both of them said as theyre nodding their head.

"You fine?" Wymen said.

"Of course." She said.

"Actually, Aisyah. You can say anything you want to me. I can listen to you." He said giving Aisyah a warm smile.

Aisyah just nod along with a smile.

"You like my cousin right ?" Wymen asked.

"N-no." Aisyah said stuttering .

"You can't lie to me, Aisyah. It's too obvious." He said.

"Fine."
"I do."
"But not anymore."

"Why ? Is it because of Airis ?" He asked.

"No. I just need to accept the fact that I was rejected and he's interested in my friend."
"I need to move on." She said smiling as she's controlling her tears from rolling down.

"Just cry if you want, dumbass." He said.

"I don't want to." Aisyah replied looking at Wymen's eyes.

"You're so bad at lying." He said as he scoffed.

"Let's get to class." Wymen said. Aisyah nodded and stand up going to their class.
