"His actions reflected across the pools of his mind and soul,
He truly didn't see it.
How much she meant to him.
Until she walked away."❦❀❀❀❦
He watched you walk away, your soft hair bouncing with each step. His chest felt heavy and he couldn't understand why.
"Take your own words and go be alone."
Your voice echoed around his mind. He clenched his fists, fingernails digging into the flesh of his palms. He would rather have physical pain than this emotional crap.
"Whatever." He grumbled to no one. He turned and entered the infirmary to let Recovery Girl check on him, but the only thing on his mind was you.
It was a long time ago when you first met, and he was different then.
You were different.
"Kacchan!" You yelled across the playground, running up to the spike-haired blond. You were holding something that he couldn't see yet, but you were proud of it.
"Oi!" He slides down the slide he was on and rushes up to you just before you trip on some rocks.
"Ow!" You cried out and he reached for your hands, your pain clouding your focus.
"Hey!" He kneels. "Look at me, Tiny!" He pokes your tear-filled cheeks and you sniffle, looking at him with your shining eyes.
"I- I got you this flower," you hiccuped and raised the now-ruined flower in your hand. "But! But now it's ruined!" You start to whine again and he frowns, not sure what to do.
