"Feelings are so complicated"

I reach the vending machine, putting in the code for the snack I want. Sighing, I cross my arms over my chest. Listening to the machine retrieve the snack, I shuffle my feet and sigh again.
"Hey," I hear a boy's voice from behind as the snack drops to the bottom of the machine. I smile and reach for it, standing straight once I have it in hand.
"Hi?" Turning around, I questioned the person talking. My eyes look the boy up and down. He looked a little too excited.
"You're from class 1-A, too, right?" He had his hands in his pockets and was slightly taller. His golden blond hair was neat and barely long enough to cover his ears. I noticed the subtle black lightning bolt detail on one of his fringe.
"Who's asking?" I take a bite of the snack and hold it in the side of my mouth to talk politely.
"I am." He shrugs lightly. "My name's Kaminari. Aizawa-Sensei told me you had a quirk like mine." He says.
"Okay?" I swallow the bite, raising an eyebrow not understanding why this random boy was talking to me.
"I wanted to introduce myself, but you seem to be busy with that," he gestures to the snack. "I was just going to suggest training with me. Since, well, similar quirks." Kaminari gives an eager smile and I can practically feel his energy suddenly beaming.
"Um.." I finish the snack, crumbling the wrapper to wake myself up.
"Sure," I answer. He smiles lightly. "What quirk do you have?"
"Oh, that's easy! I have electrification." He smiles wider and I can see a small shine against his pearly teeth. "I can store electricity in my body and practically throw it back at you."
"What about yours?" He pulls a hand out of his pocket, pointing to me.
"Static Electricity. I can just show you if you want." I run my tongue against the back of my teeth, getting some leftover food off of them.
"Sure, but not here. School's over for the day." I noticed the way he held his bag, the strange approach catching me off guard.
"Okay. Then lead the way, Kaminari." I walk over to a recycling bin and toss the wrapper into it, grasping a hair tie from my wrist. He didn't say anything, opting to walk at a pace I could keep up with. I glance up while collecting my hair in my hands.
He isn't that bad-looking.
"Himiko," I speak up, tying my hair in a loose bun. "That's my name, you never asked."
