As the dumbass me and my brother are we drove to school.

Anytime our grandparents showed up meant one thing.

"MY NINOSS (kids) how are you setting Addi?" My grandmother said hugging me.
We were currently in Luca dorm since his was larger his words not mine.
"I'm settling alright but why are you here?"
"You two together hold the most shares
in Meadows Art Foundation" Our Grandfather said sternly.
"What does that have to do with us?" Luca said looking all confuse.
"Luca its time you start preparing for the CEO role for the art's foundation."
"No we had a deal Addie graduates and she learns the way of the foundation and I get signed." Luca said abruptly standing up
As Addie sat and allowed this information sink in she never knew he brother did a deal with her grandfather.
"I know except i've fallen ill
and knowing my son he would not hesitate to take my role and leave his position open for you and well exactly you haven't gotten signed or nor has your sister has gotten married to an individual for her to take that role."
"That's stupid why do I have to get married to show I know what it has to lead the foundation i'm only 18?" I said being hurt and upset by the unfairness.
"The board members aren't okay with you taking the role as CEO due to past mistakes." My grandfather said coldly.
"Oh you mean me getting help or the part Zac nearly killed your granddaughter." "But you have no problem making Zac family because it's all about making money and the women playing supporting roles." I said as I got up and walked out of the dorm.
As Addie walked to their school "park" she sat on a swing and sat their for god knows how long.
Until..
"You know if you want to sulk anywhere else I can suggest a few places." The strange male said.
"Ever heard of saying hi to a person first?" Addie said.
"Okay well Ms.Grumpy I'm Jake." Jake said as he stuck out his hand with a popsicles.
"Still no hi but I'm Addie." Addie said with a half smile getting the popsicles he took out for her.
"What has you sulking and thinking hard Addie?" Jake said with a strong Aussie accent.
"Family, Money, My future, oh and they want me married." Addie said sucking her popsicle ice cream.
"So every rich kids problem?" Jake said jokingly
"Yeah pretty much all that's missing is an arranged marriage and me getting cut off financially." Addie said looking down knowing the real reason she wants to run the foundation.
"What's an Aussie doing here in Canada?"
"Ah I secretly flew to the UK in secret and parents sent me here as a lesson to not try that again."
"So what your burned something?"
"You catch on real quick Addie girl." He said with a playful smile.
"Well Ms.Meadows i'll leave you to your sulking" Jake said walking away leaving a confused Addie.
