I lean in close, allowing the tip of my blade to rest against his throat. "I'll ask again where is the warehouse?" Pressing the edge of my blade harder on his throat. "Fine...Fine 305 croak Avenue you go to the abandoned road past the old cave and it's there now please let me go." I smiled sadly and got up fixing my jacket I nodded to the twins Ryan and Anderson in understanding they lifted him up and started to drag him away. After my conversation with Liz I ended up going back to the quarters since Luna and Jake got a guy who betrayed them for the organization and since things went to shit with our mission bratva and the others knew me and Jake were up to something so it best we didn't draw attention. So now it's eight in the morning and I have fucking Chemistry class for the first period of the day I already missed homeroom and might as well skip the whole day here but I can't my mom and Luca have been up my ass already and I need to do really fucking well to be able to show I can take over the foundation.
I showered and got ready with the school uniform and got in my car since a bike seemed inconvenient in a fucking skirt so my black Audi had to do. "Late now too Addie?" "Jesus Luca your like unnecessary every fucking where." I snapped I haven't gotten sleep but that thirty-minute nap I took while Vin got me fucking coffee. And now hearing from Vin that my brother is being a little nosey dipshit asking questions.
Now I'm sitting in Italian AP when some girl starts shit-talking me like right in front of me. GOD HIGHSCHOOL. "I heard she was fucking around in the summer that's why her brother doesn't talk to her he's probably so embarrassed." "I heard she got rejected by Liz because she was an easy fuck." Shaking my head at their lack of discreetness I leaned in "And I heard she's a fucking psychopath that kills bitches like you?" I got up and walked away when someone called me. "Don't listen to them Addie there just my ex girlfriend-friends." I just stopped but I didn't turn my head "Your taste in women's personality needs a bit of fixing" I walked away I knew it sounded bitchy but I wasn't in the mood at least not anymore.
Lord thank god its senior year because all that homeschooling made off for something I was done with my main credits and only needed to be the for three hours and I got to leave.
On my way out "Surprise would bring the underworld to see the queen of shadows in plain sight in the middle of the day." Without thinking twice I turned to face him and hung my arms around his neck and tackled him down him beneath me now and my right hand choking him. "Who sent you," I growled annoyed by my day. I let go of him as I got up and stepped back in the realization of what he meant by he.. He meant Croc. I couldn't believe it was the man that has haunted my dreams for so long he was back..

He slapped me again I saw a woman killed in my name today they said every day that goes by he kills another in my name since my parents can't take care of me. "All in fair time however you should know that if mommy and daddy did show you we wouldn't be here. I read the documents he handed me I read how it originally said Moria Clark now renamed Addlina Meadows these were adoption papers I was adopted me and Luca where however Luca kept his name just the last name was changed however I got a full new identity again.

"Hey, are you okay?" Olivia said looking over me in pity... "Yeah, I'm fine don't worry" shaking the memory that has haunted me since I found out. She nodded and told me to be careful as she headed back to the building I quickly got in the car and took two anxiety relief pills and drove off.
Without noticing Addie her beloved brother who she had protected all these years saw her interaction with the man earlier including how she defended herself as she froze in his response he saw it all. He started growing curious about what he truly was up to lately since he started feeling he didn't know nor understood her. They were twins but far more distant than a broken couple's marriage. He didn't understand yet how he was just a pawn in a way larger game than he and his sister could think about all due to their parent's greed and dark past that's what happens when you lie to your loved ones something Addie had yet to learn.
They all had a price to pay for their parent's crime and all due time however Addie has been running from it which hasn't done well since her family is well known and now she knows someone has eyes on her and that doesn't sit right with her at all.
Addie hadn't realized but her brother had been watching her for a while now where she runs out to when she skips school to where she would head out with Jake all suited up he also knew what she and Liz were up to the guy was hard to understand but he had a past as well. Not a fond one but he knew well enough he had to stop whatever she was scheming and he had to do it fast before D-DAY comes and he loses his sister. The problem was how would he expose her without exposing himself.
That's a question he asked a lot without realizing he got into a lot of trouble the year he lost his sister was missing so he knew or felt he had to protect her from this scheme.
