The word confuse was a fuckin understatement compared to what she felt at this exact moment.

She was lost at words at what just happened and how the two people she knew were completely unfazed.

She was forced to attend a Gala with her brother last minute she never understood what her family did just that being overprotective was one of them.

It was a gala where high class people brag about their stuff and politicians earn their votes by donating money.

She didn't know why she had to attend until later on the night she was gonna head to the bar and get herself something to drink.

When she noticed someone she knew.

Her head wasn't fucking with her it had been the same brunette she had been spending her time with.

She called her out confused wondering why she's here.

Until her brother called Addie..

"Mrs.Blackthorn"

Addie had a great poker face as she responded to the name like she was used to this.

If life hated her Jake was her husband.

Now that's what screwed with Liz head she knew Jakes real last name was Maroni and Anastasia was not Addie name.

She wondered what the fuck was happening.

"Elizabeth are you okay you seem lost?" Her brother said bringing her out of her thoughts.

"Yes i'm fine brother until when can I leave?" Liz asked already exhausted from the night.

"Soon it's almost starting." Her brother said not saying more being vague all day didn't phase her anymore she knew her family was doing illegal stuff but she didn't ask not being interested in that life.

She watched as Addie and Jake danced and laughed together wishing it was her in Jake place

She had spent time with Addie an unhealthy amount.

They would walk in the evening to watch the sunset, watched movies, and played around with each other.

She knew she was taken but she couldn't help but be fond of the girl dancing.

She saw how the two quietly walked to the back where the underground basement with garage was located.

She was going to head and follow them until her brother seek her out telling her to go home and her bodyguard escorted her out.

That's when she heard them.

Gun shots were going off and her body guard quickly took her to her car and drove her not to school but home.

That wasn't good.

They were off in winter break she was gonna stay in the dormitory not feeling in the mood to spend it with her maids on christmas morning again.

Plus her and Addie were gonna exchange gifts on christmas morning.

But her going home after this it meant something was wrong.

She felt worried for the couple wondering if they made it out safely.

The rumors were proven.

Luca explained that apparently Addie and Jake had been seeing each other since the summer.

Apparently he helped her he didn't say more but there was more it was obvious.

She had noticed it with all the time she had spent with Addie she realized some days Addie was energetic some days she was very down very tired.

She also noticed Addie was very athletic.

She didn't questioned anything since it felt it wasn't her place to ask.

But she noticed how gentle Luca had been with Addie asking her if she felt okay.

Liz arrived home and went straight to her room and felt her body giving up on her she slipped down her dress took her heels off.

She headed straight to the shower and out the water in warm.

She put a big t-shirt that reached mid thighs she did her skin routine and felt a bit horny.

So she decided to take care of that and went to bed.
