~~Few hours later~~
"Ow, fuck" Addie said trying to get up.
"Easy their Adds" Vin said trying to help her get comfortable.
"Is she okay?" She asked being more concerned on the girl that got shot.
"Yes she's okay Jake got their in time she's in the safe house getting treated their" Vin replied looking exhausted.
"You look tired Vinnie" She said as he sat down and didn't look up to her.
"She wasn't their Adds" he said as he ran his fingers in his hair.
"We will find her Vin I promise you we will we are so close we can't give up." She told him hoping it would ease his pain.
Knowing the void was taking over her friend at the lost of his sister.
Jake later on walked in with coffee and donuts her partner was in sweats as she felt envy while she wore the hospital gown.
"You know i think it's stupid i have to be in the hospital and wear this stupid gown when all i got was a small cut and i passed out." She said in annoyance.
"Lina the small cut has you wincing every-time you move and you passed out due to being choked to death." Jake said as he passed her a chocolate sprinkle donuts
"This is not how i thought i would be spending christmas day" she said in a low voice grabbing the donut from Jake.
"Yeah well everything went wel-" before he could finish Addie cut him off.
"Well?" Addie said as she started hysterically laughing in pain.
"Jake someone fucked with my mission I never get fucking caught in the dark i was blinded side and i will fuckin make them hurt."
"I did not work my ass off for my name for some asshole to simply destroy that." She told him giving him a death glare that made the man turn around.
"I know I have Luna and the rest of the team on it to know what the actual fuck went on tonight something tells me this auction was the small part of the story." Jake responded to an upset Addie.
Addie nodded in response as she slowly started drifting off due to the exhaustion she felt.

~~Later that day~~
She texted Liz something came up so she was going to be unable to do their christmas morning and until break was over she'd give it to her.
In response she got an agreeable Liz telling she headed home after last night wasn't going to come back until school starts again.
Later that evening she talked to her so called new team it had no name yet but still.
The team was Luna, Vin, Jake, and well her.
She told them about Liz and her encounter and how her and Jake should handle that.
In response Luna suggested it was best if her and Vin looked into Liz deeper to see she isn't gonna bring issues later on.
In agreement they all decided it was best if Jake and her avoided Liz until they can sort this situation out.
The Annihilator received their message let's just say they just started this with blood fire.
She later on spoke with Mr.Maroni and Jake on their next plan that took place next month in New York.
To say she spent half of her Christmas day in "business" meeting all while everyone she called family was clueless what she was doing she'd call that another of her secrets.
"You look tired partner" Jake said as he brought them dinner.
"Well I'm injured and I'll have to figure out what to do with my injury so my brother doesn't start putting his nose in my business." She replied doing grabby hands to the food he brought her.
The two spent their christmas eating and laughing he later on left and let her know she would get discharged tomorrow and he'd picked up.
To say that didn't make her feel relief was and understatement.
With this injury she was told she couldn't do anything that added pressure to the wound so than meant a whole month not doing anything but be in the sidelines.
Vin would be taking her place next month where the women would be arriving next month.
She felt so less at that moment of realization she decided it was best if she went to sleep before her mind betrayed her.
