Hinata Pov: Ch-39

I sat in silence huddled up on my jail cell bed as I was left alone with my thoughts, which turned dark. Why was I being treated like a criminal who commits heinous crimes? All I did was stand up for myself by doing something that I believed in which isn't wrong by a long shot! It's been 2 months now and no one, not even my father has had enough grace to visit me.

Not even Sai, but I know him! He would never stay away from me on purpose there had to be some good reasoning as to why he hadn't come to visit me yet...

"What's a girl like her doing here?" I heard some of the women from down the hall in the other jail cells gossiping about me. "She probably stole all of the lil chocolate chip cookies from out of the cookie jar."

They began laughing and I started crying sad tears. "Why does everybody think I'm weak?" I whispered to myself crying uncontrollably. "I-I'm... strong."

Gosh! I just needed a hug right now, just a big warm, welcoming hug. The spirits surrounding the other world must have heard me because I got a real unexpected visit after 2 months that felt like forever.

"Hyuga, You have a visit!" The guard said to me as the door to my jail cell opened up and there he was!
I got up and ran straight to him jumping in his arms.

"Sai!" The painful tears that I cried just seconds ago turned into tears of joy while I hugged him tight not ever wanting to let go. "Don't ever let me go Sai!"

My tears began to stain his shirt. "Shhh, don't you cry now Hini, I'm here, I'm right here." He kissed me on my forehead and held me tightly just as I hoped.

I missed his warmth, his voice, his hands, his aura. I missed everything about him as I wished and prayed to climb into his skin. I felt at home again, just safe...

He gently massaged the back of my head not saying anything as he understood I just wanted to be held.

All of a sudden the guard came again telling him that his time was up. "It's been an hour sir, time to go."

WHAT? HOW? AN HOUR? HE JUST GOT HERE!

Was I losing it or did an hour just really go by?
No! It couldn't have, there's just no freaking way!

"Hyuga please let go of him it's been an hour now." The guard said to me as she repeated herself but I didn't listen to her as I still held onto him not letting go. "Hyuga! Let him go!" I ignored her not listening.

"Hini..." His arms loosened up but I still held on not unwrapping my arms from around him. I'm sure at this moment I was cutting off his oxygen, with how I held him even tighter. "Fine! You left me no choice!"

The guard then came in trying to tear us apart which wasn't working by the way. "No!!" I yelled with tears.

She then left out and came back with strong backup.

They were 2 big burly men one got behind me and the other one got behind Sai snatching us apart from each other. The one behind me yanked my waist as if I was a child and the other one behind him just gave him a slight tug. Once we were finally apart I tried to run back over to him but the man gripped a handful of my hair and yanked me back from running to him.

"Don't put your fucking hands on her!"

Sai growled at him trying to make his way back over to me. "SAI!" I sobbed loudly but the man still had my hair in his hand so I activated my byakugan and took my right hand behind my hair to melt what he had in his hands off and just like that, I ran freely...

I was running to Sai until the man reacted quickly by elbowing me in the nose causing it to crack & break. Blood shattered everywhere as I fell onto the ground.

"HINATA!" Sai yelled as he tried to shove the man that just hit me accidentally I don't know when or how but after that things went silent and I blacked out, letting my body move on it's own with no help.

That same man came over to pick me up but I hit him with my gentle fist, not with 2 fingers though instead, it was my whole right palm and he dropped to his knees clenching his chest, stopping his breath.

"We have a code 9! Get the trained patrol shinobis!" I heard the same main guard yelling before she hit me on the head with her black stick, I was knocked out. My body fell limped to the ground, laying still.
