Beneath The Konoha 👀 💦

Hinata Pov: Ch-24

I felt confident in the situation that just happened between me and Gaara. I felt powerful and in control which is something that I've never felt before. Soon after he left I quickly got changed and gathered my clothes as I packed them in the bag that I came with.

I then went to the balcony and began to jump from balcony to balcony until I reached the very ground. As soon as I did I ran all the way home but I didn't go through the front door in fear that someone could see me. I began jumping up other balconies until I reached mine. I removed a pin from my jacket and started picking the lock. Once it was opened I went in and safely closed the door behind me once that was over I went into my room and took off all of the clothes that I was wearing and quickly jumped into my shower. I'm gonna miss this. I thought to myself.

I picked up my favorite shampoo Cherry Blossom and I squeezed out a fair amount as I began to rub it in my hands to get it soapy then I washed my hair.

Feeling the suds roll down my back and shoulders masked the pain that I was feeling inside of myself.

I then picked up my favorite bar of soap that I made with natural herbs. It smelled like sweet cinnamon and honey. This made my body glisten and it kept me fresh throughout the day. I placed it back down once I was done with it and I started to cry as I sat under the showerhead allowing it to drench me...

I probably stayed in the shower for about an hour before I decided it was time to come out of it.

As I finally dried myself off and lotion myself up I put on some traveling clothes and placed my hair in a messy bun. After I stepped into my black combat boots I began walking around our entire apartment and started reminiscing about all of the memories that I shared with the other girls. I started to place all of their letters on their beds as I sniffled. Once I was done with that I wrote a quick note on a sticky note and placed it on the fridge and then I left the same way I came in. "I'll miss you, girls." Locks it back up.

I jumped down and began running in the direction of Naruto's apartment. I instantly climbed into his window that was open for the invitation. Once I was settled in I began to giggle. Why would this idiot leave his window open and unlocked? I started to scan his room taking it all in. I took off my shoes and leaped into his bed as I began snuggling with his cover and sheets. Of course, you don't make up your bed. Such a messy guy.

But I didn't care about that because it made me feel so much closer to him. I lie on there for about 10 minutes before I got up. When I got up I saw his nightstand on the side of his bed. I smiled when I saw all of his pictures up in a frame but I stopped at a particular one. It was a picture of him and Sakura that was just taken last week! He had it up in a frame that was surrounded by hearts. I felt a direct pain in my chest when I saw it. I picked it up and began to cry. We took pictures together too! So where was I?!

Where were my pictures? Oh yeah, that's right! He didn't care enough to get it framed! He didn't care enough to get any copies of it! I had ours up in my room! I pulled out the envelope with his name on it and placed it on his dresser wetting it up with my pitiful tears. "You don't deserve a letter from me."

Saying that softly barely able to speak as I sat down Sasuke's letter in his drawer. Even though I don't know him that well I still wrote one for him.

"I hate you!" I said in a whisper as tears still ran down my eyes. Sitting on the edge of his window getting ready to leap out. "But I-I'll always love you."

I leaped out and headed toward the Hyuga Palace. The place where my father kicked me out for being so 'weak' as he said in his words. I made a hand seal as I crept up behind the place. "Chakra Invisibility." This would keep me hidden from the guards, the pets, my cousin, and most importantly, my father.

I found a pathway that was beneath the palace, some might call it a basement. I found it when I was just a kid exploring the palace. My father nor anyone ever knew that I knew about it. I hurried and picked the lock off the door as well and then I closed both of the doors quietly behind me as I made my way through the place hidden below the house. Luckily when I secretly made my way up the stairs there was no one to be seen. I had to be extra careful though because there were cameras set all around this place. Which I still hate to this day! I slid Neji's and Hanabi's letters under the door to the tea room and then I stuck my father's letter right on his chair that sat underneath his desk. I panicked when I heard someone coming in through the door. Shit! It's my father! I covered my mouth. I hid under his big desk that was placed in his office. Thump, thump, thump. I held my chest.

But I breathed in relief when he just sat something down on his desk and walked out. What's he doing up anyways? I waited for about 10 minutes before I got up to move again. Just when I walked out and made my way to the stairs my father spoke up. "Stop! I know that you're there." Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump. Neji immediately spoke up.

"Yes, uncle I'm here." I held my chest again sighing in relief and wasted no time going up the stairs.

I crept up there and made my way to the 2nd level of the palace and headed straight for Hanabi's room.

Of course, her door was locked. At least father lets you lock yours. I thought to myself as I quickly and hurriedly unlocked it. Her room was dark and she was sleeping. So I sat down right on her side and she must've felt my presence even with the jutsu I used. Because she woke right up and gasped.

I covered her mouth in fear that she would scream. "Shhh, shhh." I held her mouth as she finally calmed down. She clapped her hands 2 times and all of the lights in her room came on. "Hi-Hinata...?"

I gently stroked her hair and tucked it neatly behind her ears. "I had to come and see you before I leave I just couldn't leave without seeing you one last time."

I kept my voice low as more tears shot out of my eyes yet again. Sniffle. "Listen baby sister. You're gonna be a great heiress. You're gonna make father proud." Hiccup. "You're gonna show our clan that you don't have to be the eldest to gain such a big title..."

She began crying with me. Oh God, I hated to see her cry. Hiccup. "You're gonna show father that you're more than just his princess." My whole heart began to break and my voice began to break up as the tears wet my face like a waterfall. "You can do it! You'll show them!" She whimpered and cried and laid her head on my chest as I held her. "Just know that I will always love and protect you no matter what Hanabi."

I gave her a long kiss on her forehead and then I went out on her balcony. She got up and ran after me though. "HINATA." She sounded like a lost child that wanted to find their mommy. Her tears and that voice broke my heart. I jumped from branch to branch once I was out of the Hyuga district.

I left Sai's letter in his mailbox and I also did the same with Kurenai's, Gai Sensei's, Iruka's, and Kakashi Sensei's letters too.

I had just one more stop to make which was Kiba's house. I used his spear key to let myself in. I kept both his and Shino's letters together since they were always together. I placed both there on his dining table and just when I was about to leave Akamaru came out of the room with his tail wiggling all happy to see me. "Hey boy." I hugged him and petted him with warm love. I then kneeled before him and took off my ninja headband from around my neck and put it around his collar. He whined and looked up at me with so much confusion. "Promise me that you'll be a good dog." Ruff. "Make sure that you listen to Kiba and uncle shino okay?" He saw the tears in my eyes as I hugged him and got up to leave. He started to whine and cry in dog tears. "You're my favorite Aka!"

I hurried and left out as my heart crumbled when he followed me scratching the doors trying to break it open. I locked the door back and put his spear key back in its original place. Sniffle. "I love you Aka..."

Finally, when I was done dropping everyone's letters off I began making my way outside of Konoha.

Thump, thump, thump. "Goodbye Hidden Leaf."
