Ten Ten Pov: Ch-7

I wondered what I was gonna do for the next 2 days. I quickly threw on some chill clothes as I knew the exact thing I planned on doing right now.

I noticed that the rest of the girls were in the living room watching tv. "Where ya going Ten?" Ino asked.
I had to come up with a quick answer so that I wouldn't draw any suspicion. "I'd figure that I go out and enjoy this nice weather." Hinata smiled at me.

She didn't ask me anything else after. I went out looking for Lee and I spotted him. He was in the restaurant with Shino and Kiba eating.

I walked in and tapped him on the shoulders. "C'mon Lee we have to go." Shino and Kiba looked up at me in a surprising way. "Oh wow, Lee. Is she the other one?" Kiba asked him. I crossed my arms in defense. "What's he talking about?" I asked.

He looked at Kiba as a way to tell him that he was now saying too much. He then got up and walked out with me. "Lee! What was that about?" I said with the demand of not wanting to let it go.

"That was about nothing Ten. Let's just get going."

We met up with Sensei Gai and then we went to the Hyuga palace to meet up with Hiashi. When we were let in I saw Neji sitting with his legs crossed on a yoga mat. I ran straight to him and jumped on him to hug him. He embraced me as I drowned him in my hugs and kisses.

Hiashi looked at us as he waited for me to stop. After about 2 minutes I stopped. "Tell me, how's Hinata?"
He asked me while I wrapped myself up in his arms.

"She's... A bit more timid." He sighed. "How long do you intend that we keep this from her?" Lee asked him. Hiashi answered. "For a while bit longer. The whole reason behind not telling her was so she could get stronger. But it seems to be going in the opposite direction." His face got into an instant frown.

I spoke up in her defense. "She's just a little sad." He stood up. "She had 4 damn years to be sad." I didn't back down from him though. "Keep underestimating her if you want to and she'll end up in a dark place."

Neji unwrapped his arms from around me and stood up. "Ten Ten's right. We've gotta stop this behavior with her." Hiashi stood up as well. "I'll have any type of behavior I want with her she's my daughter!"

Gai Sensei stood up. "I just wanna tell you Hiashi that after the war Hinata asked me to teach her some taijutsu and she's not that bad really."

When he said that Hiashi sat back down in relief. "We gotta go to plan b." He said.

When I heard that I stood up and immediately went against it.

"No way! I won't let it happen!" Neji tried calming me down but I wasn't going for it. "It's the only way!" Gai sensei said to me in the defense of him.

"No! All of you are wrong! Hinata may be a weakling in your eyes but to me, she's a strong compassionate woman, that loves others and would die for all of us if that's what it ever came down to!"

Lee went by Neji's side and crossed his arms. "Looks like you picked up on some of her emotions Ten."
He said to me as a way to shame me.

"Lee you can't be on their side. Don't you remember what it was like for you when everyone thought that you were weak and useless? You should empathize with her the most." He still sat there with his arms crossed with a serious look on his face.

Neji spoke up for him. "He worked hard at it."

At this moment I couldn't believe what I was hearing at all. Like were they all serious? Was this real?

"Neji what are you saying?" I asked distraughtly.

"I'm saying that we're going along with plan b."
I felt this overwhelming feeling in my chest when he said. They couldn't do that since that would break her heart even more.

"I'll tell her that you're still alive then." Neji came right by my side and grabbed my arm.

"You'll do no such thing!" Gai sensei and Hiashi went off talking somewhere else.

Lee spoke up to me. "You're forgetting why we're all doing this in the first place." I was too hurt to listen.

"Lee leave us be for a while." He did as Neji wished and he left us. Neji ended up taking us to his room.
