Y/n is a 21 year old girl in a village named Gavaldon. One day something happens which completely changes her life. She meets new people, makes new friends and maybe even finds her true love.
The next morning you were woken up by someone shaking you. You opened your eyes and saw professor Dovey standing over you. "What are you doing here?" You asked sleepily.
"I'm waking you up, you already missed breakfast." She explained. Your eyes went wide and you sat up. You didn't realize that it was already so late. Well that's what you get from staying up until 3 am I guess. You thought.
"Sorry I didn't realize I overslept. I'll get ready and start teaching." You apologized. You got up and got dressed. You remembered your lunch with Lesso this afternoon so you wanted to make yourself look pretty.

You chose a bit of a shorter dress because you were going to be walking and this way it would be easier. You went to your first class after you finished getting dressed. You walked into your classroom and saw that everyone was already present. "Alright class, today we'll start with our actual dance lessons. So choose a partner and get into position." You called. You watched as boys and girl began to pair up. Eventually everyone stood in their position and you started the music. They danced like you taught them to, here and there was a mistake but nothing major. Soon class was over and you decided that you would start getting everything ready for your meeting with Lesso. You got the food, a basket and a blanket and walked to the spot to set it up. Before you realized it, it was already 1 o'clock. You rushed back to your meeting spot to see her already waiting. "Hi there." You said. She looked at you and smiled.
"Hi princess. You look beautiful." She complemented. You blushed.
"Thank you." You responded. "Shall we go?" You asked. She nodded and mentioned for you to start walking ahead. You did and you soon arrived at the spot. She gasped a little.
"It's beautiful here." She said amazed. You hummed.
"I found when I was walking around. I immediately got lost in the beauty." You said. You walked to the picnic you set up and sat down. She did the same.
"So why did you bring me here exactly?" She asked.
"I just thought you might like it here." You said. It wasn't a complete lie but it also wasn't the whole truth. She nodded her head.
"I do, it's very peaceful." She agreed. The two of you talked like you hadn't seen each other in years, yet it was less than 24 hours ago. At some point her hand touched yours and you look her in the eye. Your gaze dropped to her lips for a split second before looking back in those gorgeous green eyes. Suddenly her lips were on yours but before you could react, she pulled away. "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I got so caught up in my head that it just happened. I'm so-" before she could finish you pressed your lips to hers. She immediately kissed back. The kiss was full of love and passion. You only broke apart because you ran out of air. You looked at her breathlessly.
"I've been wanting to do that for so long." You admitted. She smiled.
"Me too." She confessed quietly. You sat there in a comfortable silence, both still processing what just happened. "Can I ask you a question?" You asked.
"Depends on what the question is." She replied.
"Well I was just wondering, is Lesso really your name?" You asked. You weren't sure if you overstepped or not.
"No it's not." She said shortly. You tilted your head.
"What is your actual name then? You don't have to tell me, I'm just wondering." You said. You have her the chance to refuse in hopes she'd be more comfortable that way.
"It's Leonora." She said after a moment of silence. "I don't really use it here, barely anyone know it. It just bring up a lot of memories from the past." She explained.
"Leonora." You said. The name sounded familiar. "I think it's very pretty. It suits you." You told her. "It does sound familiar though, like I've heard it before." You thought for a moment before your eyes snapped up to look at her. "You're the girl that disappeared from Gavaldon twelve years ago." You said. She nodded. "So you weren't always here?" You asked.
"No, I was taken here. Although I remember you." She said. You looked at her.
"You do? What do you remember?" You asked.
"Well I remember this sweet and kind girl that was always walking around with some sort of book. Always helping people, looking out for everyone. I must say y/n you haven't changed one bit." She said smiling. You smiled back at her.
"So does this mean I can call you Leonora?" You question sweetly.
"Absolutely not." She refused. You pouted at her.
"Oh come on, please. You call me princess." You defended. "How about Nora? Or Lessy?" You asked.
She shook her head. "Not a chance. I am still evil you know." She replied. You sighed and gave up. You knew you were never going to win this one.
"I do have one other question." You said sheepishly.
"Go on." She said. She was smirking, you knew she was.
"What does this make us?" You asked unsure. You were so confused.
"I don't know. What would you like us to be?" She asked you. You smiled.
"Well Leonora Lesso, would you make me the happiest girl in the world and be my girlfriend?" You asked.
"Of course I would princess." She replied with a smile. You couldn't help but give her a passionate kiss. "But we do have to keep this a secret." She said.
"Why?" You asked confused. Other people can show of their partners, why can't you?
"Because dating between Evers and Nevers is strictly forbidden." She responded.
"What would happen if they did know?" You questioned. She sighed.
"We'd have to do a Trial by Tale. It may sound magical but trust me it's not. Its dangerous and it's no fun. I don't want to do that to you." She explained. You understood why but that didn't mean you liked it.
"I understand." You said. "So I can't show you off to everyone huh?" You asked. She laughed.
"No you cannot. At least not for now." She said. You nodded. Suddenly you stood up and help your hand out for her.
"Come on, I want to show you something else." You said. She took your and together you walked through the forest. It was so magical. You walked around for close to an hour before you decided that you should head back for dinner. The two of you made your way back to the school where you sat down in your chairs and ate your dinner.
"Where did you go? I haven't seen you all afternoon." Dovey asked. You look at her.
"Oh well I was just walking around, getting to know the area." You replied. She seemed pleased with your answer and didn't ask anymore questions. Everyone went back to their rooms after dinner. You and Dovey had some tea in her office and catches up. Talking about the plans for the ball that was in a few months. You talked for a while and then headed to bed early because of how tired you were.
