Y/n is a 21 year old girl in a village named Gavaldon. One day something happens which completely changes her life. She meets new people, makes new friends and maybe even finds her true love.
It's been a few days since you were sick and as you said the next day you were back to normal. You and Lesso and been sneaking around like usual. Dovey had been giving you looks and you didn't know why. You were peacefully eating lunch. You noticed Dovey wasn't there and neither were the other teachers. Lesso came up to you.
"Y/n can you come with me please?" She asked. You looked up at her. She used your name, that wasn't like her. Something was going on. You nodded. Lesso walked away from the dining hall and you followed her. She led you into a room where you saw the other teachers, professor Dovey and the school master.
"Lesso what's going on?" You asked. You were scared. You didn't know what was going on. Before the redhead could respond, the school master spoke up.
"It has come to my attention that you and Lady Lesso are in a relationship. As you may know, dating between Evers and Nevers is strictly forbidden." He said. You looked at Dovey.
"Dovey I thought you were okay with it? You were the one that pushed me to help Lesso." You said. Your voice broke a little.
"Y/n I- I thought you two were getting close in a friendship kind of way. Not this. This relationship you have going on needs to stop." She said. Your lip trembled.
"I can't. I love her too much for that. She's the only one I want and I will forever stand by that." You replied truthfully.
"Tell me, is it really true love that you think it is? Do you think a relationship between an ever and a Never can last? A relationship between good and evil?" He asked.
"Yes, I love her more than anything and nothing in this world can ever change." You said after a moment of silence.
"And what about you Lady Lesso? Do you feel the same?" He asked her. She has been quiet this whole time. She looked up and looked the school master straight in the eye.
"I do, I never thought I could have something like this but it happened and I am so glad it did because I don't know what I would do without y/n in my life. I'd be completely lost if I didn't have her." She replied. The school master nodded.
"Then there is only one way to settle this. We shall hold a Trial by Tale. It will start tonight at sundown. Do you accept?" He asked.
"Yes" you and Lesso said at the same time. You moved closer to her and held her hand in yours.
"Alright then, you should go rest up. It's going to be a long night." He said. You swallowed. The teachers walked out of the room leaving you and Lesso alone. You fell into her arms and she held you close.
"Hey, we can do this. I believe in us. Don't worry too much. And even if it's not true love, we can still be happy together." She soothed while stroking your hair. You looked up at her with teary eyes but nodded your head. "Okay. You should go to your room and rest up. I'll see you tonight." She said. You each walked to your own room. You decided to sort out an outfit first.
