It's now a few months later and over the past few weeks you've been going crazy with the preparation. Tomorrow was the big day and you couldn't wait. You and Lesso had decided to sleep in separate rooms, keeping some traditional rules. You were having a spring wedding, it was your favorite season.//a few months before getting in a relationship with Lesso//
It was a cold evening, you and Lesso were walking outside. "Have you ever thought about getting married?" You asked suddenly. She looked a bit shocked.
"No I suppose not. I don't think I'll ever get married if I'm honest. What about you?" You thought deeply.
"I've always wanted a white spring wedding. Like my parents did and because spring is my favorite season." You told her.
"That sounds really beautiful, I hope you'll get your wish someday." You smiled at her.
//present//
It was easy to get Lesso to agree to a spring wedding. If you were honest you could get her to do anything for you.
You had decided to wear this dress with your hair down. You had no clue to what Lesso would be wearing.
And a white, violet and red theme. You were so excited you couldn't wait.
When you discussed a venue there was no the place you wanted than the place she became your girlfriend and got engaged. As for the guests you didn't have much of a choice as the whole school was invited. Before you knew it, it was finally time. You had asked Dovey to walk you down the aisle, she had cared for you and you love her like a sister and Amelia was the flower girl. Lesso was already standing there, waiting for you. You slowly walked to her and you teared up as you saw what she was wearing.
She was still wearing a suit but to your great surprise it was white. You didn't think she would wear white today, she despises light colors. When you reached her the tears were streaming down your face. She put her hands on your cheeks and wiped away the tears. Dovey was also the one who was going to bond you. "I understand you wrote your own vows." Dovey said. You nodded. The dean mentioned for Lesso to start. She took a deep breath.
"From the moment our paths crossed,
you've surprised me, distracted me, captivated me and challenged me in a way
that no human being ever has. I've fallen in love with you again and again, countless times, without reservation, and I still can't believe that today I get to marry my true love. I promise to be true to you, to uplift and support you, to frustrate and challenge you, and to share with you the beautiful moments of life. Someday, if the stars align, I might even let you win an argument. No matter what trials we encounter together or how much time has passed, I know that our love will never fade. That we will always find strength in one another, and that we will continue to grow side by side. I believe in the truth of what we are, and I will love you always, with every beat of my heart." By the end of her vows Lesso had tears in her eyes, something that was very rare. You on the other hand were already crying. Now it was your turn."I never thought it was possible, that I would be standing here with you. It was something I thought was a fairytale. A happy ending to a children's book. I never thought it possible, for it to be so true and so real. We were merely friends, or so we thought we were. I never thought it could change so fast. It was fate that brought us together. Like a magnetic pull I was stuck quite happily and you were as well. I loved you then and I still do, but now I know I'm IN love with you. I promise not to leave you,
I promise to stand by you and love you.
I never thought it possible that I'd be here with you, Nora, but I'm glad I am and I will always love you." You we're barely able to finish due to the tears that were leaking from your eyes."The rings?" Dovey asked softly. Amelia came to your side with the rings. You gave her a quick side hug before taking Lesso's ring while the redhead did the same.
You had decided to keep it simple as your engagement ring was very sparkly.
"I give you this ring to wear with love and joy. As a ring has no end, neither shall my love for you. I choose you to be my wife this day and forevermore." You said before sliding the black ring around her finger.
"I give you this ring to wear with love and joy. As a ring has no end, neither shall my love for you. I choose you to be my wife this day and forevermore." Lesso repeated before she too slid the gold ring around your finger.
"You may now kiss the bride." Dovey announced happily. Not even a second later your lips met Lesso's, you felt all the love she held for you and you returned the same amount of love for her. When you broke apart you turned to your guests, hand in hand with Lesso. Everyone cheered and clapped. You mentioned for Amelia to come over. She did and you hugged her tight. Lesso joined in and it became a family. This is all you ever dreamed of. A wife, a daughter and dog. Maybe in the future you would expand your little family but for now you had all you ever wanted. Your happily ever after.
