When I wake up the next morning Wednesday had already deserted the room. I thought for a moment I was dreaming of last night before seeing my swollen lips. I was starting to worry about Wednesday. What if she regretted the kiss? I mean the kisses. I was preparing for the Outreach Day when my phone rang

Alexa : I can't wait to see you today let me know when you find out what your volunteer job is !!
Jade : Me too !! I'll let you know :)

Everyone was in the Quad and Principal Weems was making an announcement. I avoided everyone especially Divina and Wednesday. We are given our assignments
"Yes ! I got Pilgrim World. I have natural people skills and a love or performing, so it's kind of the obvi choice. What'd you get ?"
I read my paper
"Weathervane."
I was headed for the Weathervane when I passed Thing
"Hey buddy where do you come from like that ?"
He told me what he was doing
"You changed your assignment at Ajax so Enid would swap hers with Wednesday ?"
He nodded
"She's planning to investigate there, right ?"
He nodded
"I have to go there but take care of her for me please. Bye Thing !"
Once in front I saw Alexa
I smiled at her and she replied with an even bigger smile.
I've been working for a while and Tyler gives me a break. He is really nice in the end already better than this weird guy Xavier. So I sat at a table with Alexa. She twirled a strand of my hair around her finger
"I missed you pretty girl"
I bit my bottom lip
"I missed you too"
"This uniform looks good on you"
"Do you really think it suits me ?"
"Yes."
"Thank you by the way I wanted to tell you-"
"Jade."
I turned towards the voice and saw Wednesday in front of our table.
"Wednesday." I raised a curious eyebrow
"I need your help"
I was really upset about what she did this morning so I replied in an irritated way
"Oh cause now that you need something I exist"
"Could you stop for two seconds from behaving like a child"
I gasp
"Am I acting like a child ? You know what Wednesday ? The child will not help you ! Find yourself another idiot dumb enough to follow you in your insane plans"
