Wednesday was returning from Principal Weem's office.
"So ?"
"So we are not in love ?"
"Okay do you want to watch the movie with me or not ? You promised me"
"You keep not answering me it's extremely disturbing."
I sighed
"Wednesday we haven't even defined our relationship yet and you want me to say that I love you ?"
"You don't ?"
"What ?"
"Love me"
It was the first time that I saw her unsure of herself.
"If I was in love with you... Is there a possibility that you could love me too ?"
"Maybe I already do"
"Maybe ?"
I sighed again
"You don't want to talk about it tomorrow ? For now i just want to watch this movie with you. Please"
She looked into my eyes for a moment
"Tomorrow we talk about it"
I smiled
"We do it like that"
We were now watching Scream in my bed and Wednesday had her arm around my shoulders while the laptop was on my lap.I felt her heartbeat, soft and steady. Looking at her out of the corner of my eye I noticed a smirk on her lips.
"Do you like the movie ?" I asked
She lowered her head slightly and looked at me.
"I really like the mixture of screams, blood, teenagers and stab wounds "
"I knew you would find it fun"
I smile at her and kiss her cheek quickly before adjusting myself back into her arms. Taking care to bring my ear closer to her chest to listen to her heartbeats even more and memorize them forever.
I want to hear it forever
"It's your birthday soon, isn't it ?"
"How do you know that ?"
"Thing tells me. And I guess he didn't lie to me. Want something special for this event ?"
"I don't want anything let alone a party or a surprise"
"I guess your birthday isn't a celebration for you ?"
"No it's not a celebration, not for me anyway"
"I respect your choice, I won't surprise you on your birthday. I promise you"
I took her little finger from under the duvet and squeezed it gently. I felt her heart quicken slowly, sending out more resounding beats.
"You have my consideration for that"
"I thought I already had it from helping you dig up that corpse ?" I said offended
"It's different you always have a special place for me."
I felt my heart explode in my chest at her words
"A special place for me ? Oh you got a sweet spot for me you mean" I gave her an obvious look
"Don't make me slit your throat to shut you up. And also the killer is Billy Loomis it's obvious"
"How did you do ? Is that so obvious ?"
