Chapter 7

Alexa and I enter the room greeted by Ms Thornill.

"Well what a nice surprise Jade. You have someone to go to Rave'N with you. And you are ?"

"Alexa, Alexa Perez" she smiled

"I'm glad Jade has a date. Usually she's really shy and discreet"

"I am l really lucky to have noticed Jade is the sweetest"

She said taking my hand

"It was a pleasure to meet you"

"Same !" replied Tornhill with a big smile.

We walk hand in hand before sitting down at a table

"So I'm the sweetest huh ?" I asked her teasingly

"Shut up"

I tapped her on the shoulder

"So much violence towards the sweetest"

I exclaimed with a falsely offended look

"Don't make me regret coming here" she smiled

"You could never love me too much for that"

I kissed her cheek

"Thank you for coming by the way"

"Are you kidding me ? A whole evening with my French princess! I would kill to make it every weekend"

We looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds before bursting into laughter.

"You're really funny Alexa" I say rolling my eyes

I felt a look burn my back. I turned around and immediately met Wednesday's gaze. What was she doing here ? Her hair was up and she had on a black dress.

She was breathtaking

The way she looked at me told me she was really upset about something. I turned around a second time and told Alexa

"I'm gonna go get us some drinks I'll be right back. At the slightest problem join me"

"So protective just go I'm waiting for you here"

I poured us drinks when I heard a voice behind me

"You kissed her cheek"

I kept silent. Alexa and I are friends. I didn't want to fight her now so not answering her was the least bad solution.

"Why do not you want to talk to me ?"

I sighed

"Maybe because you came to the ball without telling me and with...?"

"Tyler."

I gasped

"You are really beautiful like that by the way. But I don't want to ruin my evening with your concealed jealousy have a good time with Tyler."

And I headed back to the table

"You have an atypical relationship, you and Wednesday"

I looked at Alexa curiously

"I mean in your eyes both of you can see a lot of love but so much hate at the same time it's...disturbing"

I was coughing loudly still in shock at her words

"We have to talk about this now ?"

"No we don't have to talk about it now but you and her have things to clear up. Now come dance with me"

"With pleasure !"
