Nautilus City

The neutral territory between Pacifia and Oceanna. A city with a mix of both cultures, a safe haven for those who want to switch kingdoms or have a family split between the two kingdoms. It's proof that Pacifia and Oceanna can co-exist, in peace and harmony. However, the great red wave has decreased the chances significantly, to almost 0. 

Eva - here we are, welcome to Nautilus City!

Thomas - WOW, this place is top-notch, luxurious... 

Eva - hahaha, I remember you saying the same for Oceanna on day one...hmmm?

Thomas *guilty* - ha...ha, I like both of them... can't I like both??

 Eva - You sure can. Hehe, I was just kidding.

Thomas - so where are the delicious food stalls? *drooling*

Eva - You are acting like Allie now, hahaha...Let's go, come *holds Thomas' hand*

Thomas - *omg, she's holding my hand! Just like in the old times...* Wait, old times...

Eva - huh? did you say something?

Thomas - huh! no, nothing. *why would I have such a thought, and what was that just now, a flashback or a fragment of memory, if so, whose?*

Eva - Here we are!

Thomas - WOW! This is so bright and full of people, so diverse! and...OMG is that Takoyaki?!

Eva - You like takoyaki?

Thomas - Like? I love it!

Eva - well then, help yourself, I'm not a big fan of-

Thomas - Here!

Eva - You already got it!!

Thomas - hehe, here you can have the first one

Eva - no, I'm not fond of stall food very much...

Thomas - oh princess, this is also one of the ways of experiencing life outside the castle, have you ever tried it? Come on now, say ahh...

Eva - ha, I'm not so easily persuaded 

Thomas - hmmm *let's try that, shall we?* 

Goes near Eva's ear and whispers "It tastes like fireworks"

Eva - whaa!! what are you doing and what do you mean 'tastes like firewo-'

Flashback 

Young Thomas Alanciel - Hey Eva! Try this.

Young Eva - What's this? it's so good, it...it...it tastes like fireworks *eyes sparkle*

Young Thomas Alanciel -  hahahaha, fireworks? Have you tasted one? 

Eva - Not yet...

Young Thomas Alanciel - And you never will be because...

Transition to the present time

Thomas - they are not supposed to be eaten anyway, only to be captured by our eyes and phones too now

Eva - Thomas...

Thomas - yes?

Eva - nothing, I'll have one *pouting*

Thomas - hehe, here you go princess

Eva whispers - It tastes like fireworks...

Author's POV

Once both of them ate till their stomachs almost exploded, they headed towards the surface to watch the sunset. Before starting, Eva proposes a race and the loser has to make dinner for two. Thomas called Kurohoshi and Blu followed alongside, both the MizuDobutsus got ready and took off. KuroHoshi having more experience in wars was slightly faster than Blu who had only been trained but never participated in a war. As a result, Thomas won the race and a homecooked meal from Evangeline. 

Thomas - oh yeah! homecooked meal, I haven't had one for so long...

Eva - well, you can have high expectations, I am a pretty good cook, hehe.

Thomas - oh really?! Let us see then.

1 hour later

 Eva - tada! Sushi platter for two

Thomas *coming out of the shower half-naked while wiping his hair* - woah! That looks top-class!

Eva - WHAAA, THOOOMAAAASSSS!!

Thomas - AHHHHHH, WHA-WHAT'S WRONG?!

Eva - You aren't wearing a shirt!

Thomas - Huh? oh, it's a habit, hehe.

Eva *covering her eyes* - well, go wear something fast! 

Thomas - Yes ma'am

It suddenly goes quiet and Eva decides to remove her hands from blocking her face, only to see Thomas being really close to her, still half-naked. 

Eva - what the hell do you think you are doing?!

Thomas - I have no idea, my body just moved on its own. But I feel like this has happened before... even when you held my hand earlier, I felt the same. And even the fireworks...

Eva - what? before... just like...no way...

Thomas - it's like they are my memories but not mine because I do not remember them...

Eva *epiphany* - it can't be, come with me!

Thomas - what?! okay, lemme just wear something on top! 

Eva - it's not possible but it makes sense, why you were allowed to enter, the MizuDobutsus, pendant, colour, scars and your appearance *teary-eyed*

Thomas - huh? slow down, Eva, hey...wait..where are we going?

Eva - Just shut up and come!
