The bustling city of Oceanna

Author's POV

*Pop* *pop*, small air bubbles popped over Thomas's face to wake him up which he did without any trouble since he is used to getting up early. As he awoke he stared at the ceiling for some time still in a daze,  and then with a jerk, he got up and yesterday night's memories crossed his mind as fast as a bullet train. However, after looking around he noticed something peculiar and confounding, it was still dark outside. He searched for a clock but couldn't find one then he realized how deep, underwater he was, so deep even the sun's rays couldn't reach. Maybe that's why the bubbles were popping they must be the alarm clocks for this civilization he thought to himself.

Rise and shine! a voice said

Thomas's mind - ah, that sweet voice, I can never forget, maybe she is my Ariel... WAIT WHAT! NOOOOOO STOOOOP COME BACK TO REALITY THOMAS! 

Thomas - Good morning Evangel... umm I mean princess *I said with a slight bow*

Evangeline - It's okay you can call me Evangeline I don't like to be called princess anyway plus we're the same age so it's cool. 

Thomas's mind - this girl is cool maybe because of that time when I met her, what if it wasn't her first time, she seemed to know around the roads pretty well.

Evangeline - sooo you ready for the tour?

Thomas - TOUR FOR FREE? AND YOU'RE THE GUIDE? A PRINCESS! WOW OF COURSE I'M READY, let's go. I may get some inspiration for the next anime. But wait I don't have decent clothes, wait a minute you aren't gonna make me go in these clothes are you? 

Evangeline's mind - hehe, how cute. Just like a little child. Although he is quite handsome.

Evangeline - no of course not, you shall wear the clothes I have brought for you.

4 maids came in each with a pair of clothes, one had a shirt and trousers, the second had a tuxedo, the third had a printed shirt and shorts, and the fourth was a light green, fluffy, polo neck shirt. 

Thomas's mind - wow, nice collection but... what's with the tux are we going to a formal occasion, and the shirt and trousers..hmm.. that's good for a date. I'm not even gonna select the shorts and printed shirt, well the only option is the fourth.

*Time skip*

Evangeline - Welcome to the town of Oceanna! In the main city of the Underwaters, those who wanna earn money or have a prosperous business come here and also those who want to buy quality stuff. But the most wonderful thing is...FOOOD! she said with fish skewers in her hands. 

Thomas - wow it's bustling and really bright, although are you okay without a disguise or some... Woah why are you stuffing your mouth with food?!

Evangeline - *gulps* nope don't have to, everyone is friendly here and admires the royal family cuz we don't believe in hierarchy. Actually, some citizens are wealthier than the royal family. 

Thomas - oh... really? wow, that pretty much reduces the need for war.

Evangeline - yeah but only within the kingdom, we still go to wars with other kingdoms.

Thomas - other? you mean there are more! 

Evangeline - of course, is Japan the only country in the world?

Thomas's mind - haha. got a point *mentally facepalms himself*

Evangeline - well, I could take you to the ones which are allied with us, but for now, have this *giving one of the skewers to Thomas* 

Thomas - Thank you. That would be quite adventurous but first I would have to learn how to swim. Mmmmm delicious 

Evangeline - swimming isn't that hard for you I guess you already swam all the way down here plus we don't have to swim... hehe. she said with a smirk on her face.

Thomas - *gasp* a..ar..are we gonna ride the sea creatures, if that's the case then I'm speechless. That would be the best journey ever. 

Evangeline - I don't think so, it's not so easy to ride one of the creatures. It took me 4 years. You have to bond with them, share a connection, and gain their trust.

Thomas - ha, well, I'll prove you wrong cuz I'm really great with animals. I bet I can do all that in 10 mins max.

Evangeline - challenge accepted! Oooo, you would surely love to get a souvenir, wouldn't you?

Thomas - yeah sure, I would prefer an antique bracelet or maybe a locket. They are easy to handle plus I can always wear them...haha

Evangeline - hmmm okay I know a humongous shop that sells and collects antique stuff. Even stuff from the Landers ( the people who live on land, basically humans).

Thomas - I guess that's what you call my kind huh? well, that question has been cleared.

Evangeline - You've made a list of questions or something if so I'll be glad to answer them gradually since I assume you won't be leaving here soon.

Thomas - sure but I do have to get back or at least check up on my place...

Evangeline - sure we could do that, I can come with you to your place and you could take me on a tour of your country then *smiles brightly*

Thomas's mind - cute
