Thomas *disgusted* - what?

Thanatos - let me introduce myself. I am Thanatos, the god of death who can burn bonds and twist fates.

Thomas *astounded* - god of death...Thanatos. A deja vu? it feels as if this has happened before. Have I met him before?

Thanatos *smiles* - Feels like you've experienced this before don't you? Let me return your memories.

As Thanatos says this, he casts a spell on Thomas and suddenly there is a surge of recollection. Thomas realizes that after every death he has met Thanatos, he was always asked the same question. "Is this the life you will fulfil that promise?". 

Thanatos - It's true that I used Ajax to play with your and that girl's destiny, because 'destiny' was the only thing I couldn't burn and there was only one at that time. I wanted to show the gods that I am stronger and deserve to go to heaven-

Thomas *furious* - so, you tortured us for 19 lives...just because you were weak! Just because you wanted to go back to the place you were thrown out of by doing the very thing that got you kicked out!! *manifests an astral sword*

Thanatos *remorseful* - Ha, no matter how many times I hear this, I won't be able to undo what I have done... I am the god of death-

Thomas *raises the sword* - maybe instead of burning and twisting fates, you could've guided people's souls into the next life! Maybe then, you would've been forgiven and maybe this was what you were supposed to do since the beginning!*proceeds to slash Thanatos*

Thanatos - yes, I know, that's what I have been doing for your past 18 lives...

Thomas *halts* - what? 

Thanatos - you've said this same thing after you died in your first life...

Clovis - where am I?

Thanatos - welcome, Clovis! I am Thanatos...

Clovis - the god of death!

Thanatos *laughs* - I'm surprised there are still humans that know about me in this era, yes, I am the god of death and I am about to surpass the other gods!

Clovis - and how are you planning on doing that?

Thanatos *proud* - once your and Princess Luciana's destiny is burned by the blade I've given that fool, I would've bested all of the gods who blessed this bond.

Clovis *smirks* - what nonsense! And then what? You'll be let into heaven once again? Ha, do not jest, how would you be allowed back inside by doing the same thing that caused you to be expelled in the first place!

Thanatos *offended* - What?! You are a mere human! How dare you spout such things to a god!

Clovis *shouts* - Well, you aren't a god for me. And also, I still feel my link with Luciana, *shows the bright red string tied on his pinky finger* I promised her that I would save her in the next life!

Thanatos *baffled* - what? I failed? My powers aren't strong enough...but I...

Clovis *takes a deep breath*-  maybe instead of burning and twisting fates, you could guide people's souls into the next life. Maybe then, you would be forgiven, And who knows, maybe this was what you were supposed to do since the beginning.

Thanatos *epiphany* - what I was supposed to do...

Clovis *gently* - come *reaches his hand out* I can be your first soul that needs to be guided. Will you guide me?
